I was quite confused for a while when I couldn't find the registration request listed in the Readme file, but it eventually worked. (Win 7 pro x64.) I am very happy with the program; the results are quite good, and it couldn't be easier! I should also mention that I have other programs from this company, and they are reputable and excellent!

I have wasted app 30 minutes on this application, and I am 76 years old, and I simply can not continue to do this type of thing. It says the key has already been used. perhaps as it may have been sent to many other downloaders.
This does little to encourage me to visit this site again, and yes I am familiar with computers. as I do computer repair.
I am not sure I will ever look at the software authors without remembering this episode lol. Perhaps in another life.
Many thanks for a noteworthy evening.

William Carter: this particular developer doesn't have a stellar track record and nor is its software superior to freeware already out there. You're likely to deny yourself some future pleasure with GOTD if this ineptitude of this developer puts you off visiting this site.

Downloaded, installed with no problems running Windows 7 64 bit. Got registration key immediately. Registered. Tried this out on several photos. Happy with improvements to photos. Makes images sharper. A simple program to improve brightness and sharpen images. Good for that but this program isn't for the pro.

Loads and runs fine on my last generation i5 Dell. Simple but also to the point as a program. How would I improve the program? I would suggest that the system for entering the registration key be one that allows the user to copy and paste the whole key into the space provided rather than having to populate multiple fields of the serial entry section of the pop up window.

Same version given away way back in December 2015. Looks like it hasn't been updated in 2 years.

This is worth checking as it gives good details about how to use the program and what features it offers.

Its been nothing but trouble: Slow, clunky and freezing up. Serial number like so many others doesnt work. I got rid of it. If an install is this hard imagine how difficult it will be to manage to use it (if you get that far).

I have e-mailed the vendor and I gave up BUT as I was about to uninstall I clicked HELP and ABOUT and there it said that I had a FULL VERSION, despite that I had an invalid serial number.
I edited a photo but not much difference between 1% and 190%. I will have to test it some more.

My password link arrived within the minute. Although there was a notice suggesting failure ('You must be connected to the internet'), it completed registration within two minutes.

I requested this program before, and like before never got a license key emailed. I have an earlier version already which takes up 6.7 MB. I uninstalled version 4 which is a whopping 162 MB. Are you kidding me?

I tried registering it, but it kept on responding with "Error. There was no license key requested." Have no idea why that is coming up. .......whatever.

I may guess that you have installed Kapsersky and since a few days we have massive problems with users who have installed this software. Of course we can't reproduce it on our systems. :(
Anyway, it ususally helps if you start the software with a right click and the option "Start as administrator".
Thank you! Have a nice day, Tim

This is kind of old version. I have the version 4, given away for free by someone since 2015, and another one, exactly the same version and build, also given by some other site, since December 2016.

"...of complex connected psycho visual..."

OMG.. its psycho... insane... whatever shall we do?

Never before have I seen such hype, such spin.... such babledygook. (is that even a word? Who knows, it looks much like "psycho" so I'm using it... both, at the end of the day, are meaningless.

As for the program, Thanks, I'll try it out and report back, maybe. :)

I installed it an hour ago, still waiting for my registration key. Don't know if it will arrive or not, in the meantime I checked out PhotoCleaner (Free).

http://www.photocleaner.com/index.html

I've no idea how the two compare, but I am impressed with PhotoCleaners options and it can do batch processing (which is pretty much essential for me). So I think I'll stick with it.

Worth trying.

Audiomonk, thanks for this suggestion. It was a quick and simple download, and smooth, as-expected installation. It's a very lightweight program that does what it says. Even allows for drag & drop, and captions (which can serve as a rudimentary way to do a basic watermark). The only problem is that it doesn't save to the original folder, and for me, having to traverse drives, directories, folders and subfolders just to find my original image folder is a deal breaker.

Audiomonk,
PhotoCleaner - Yea, but it's only 30day free trial. What does it cost after 30days? Doesn't say. Trish

Simply Good Pictures is a simple, easy-to-use software that allows you to edit or optimize photos instantly. If you are looking to edit a lot of photos, but you don’t have a lot of time to spare, this software allows you to optimize all these images in one click.

Simple and easy to use user interface

The main interface of the application is split into 3 major parts, with the original picture being displayed on the left, while the preview appearing on the right side of the screen. You’ll find a couple of optimization options at the bottom of the screen.

Functionality

Although auto touch ups on photos aren’t as good as doing it by yourself, Simply Good Pictures actually tries hard to incorporate essential image enhancement features that make the entire process easier. The application by itself doesn’t support batch editing, leaving you with an option to only edit a single image at a go. This is pretty much a headache, when dealing with a large number of images.

The automatic function is readily available for use, although you should note that once on this mode, you can’t use the Auto-Color function. When the Auto-Color option is off, you can easily use a slider to alter the strength of the optimization process. Simply Good Pictures also allows easy removal of noise in images and you can set automatic dynamic range, reduce shadows, correct poor exposures, and add light to images.

Pros

• Decent user interface
• Easy to use
• Automatic image sharpening and adjustment
• Places images side by side for easy comparison
• Allows switching to manual mode for those who’d like more control
• Supports a whole range of image input options

Cons

• Doesn’t support batch processing
• Only saves images as JPG or BMP

Conclusion

Simply Good Pictures is a decent software that’s easy to use and allows for automatic image adjustment. It doesn’t crash or hang during image processing. The only disadvantage is that you can only save images as JPG or BMP.

Terry E, I have been using an earlier version of this software for a year or so now, and totally agree with your analysis. It might not have the range of programs like Photoshop, but for ease of use and just compact functionality, it is hard to beat. Simply Good kinda sums it up.

p.s., FormatFactory (freeware) solves the jpg bmp limitation.

Terry E, " If you are looking to edit a lot of photos, but you don’t have a lot of time to spare, this software allows you to optimize all these images in one click."

It doesn't support batch processing, so to optimise a lot of photos, it's a lot of clicks.
