Downloaded the current version from the website and used the license key to register it and that went just fine. When I ran it against the url of one of my websites, it really didn't give me any useful information. Don't see any real value in the product, so I uninstalled it.

The link downloaded version 4.4, not 4.5. I used the provided registration code and it worked. There is an option to update to 4.5, via the website; however, I am not sure the same activation code would work. No biggie for me, but I thought people should know what to expect.

SEOChecker.exe not found after setup. Desktop icon has nothing to start.

Downloaded and installed ok. Activated w/license key given. However, program says it's ver 4.4 vs. advertised 4.5. Download prompt for update 4.5 is given. Downloaded and installed 4.5. Looks like doing so did NOT invalidate the 'licensed to giveaway of day'.

After launch it briefly offered to check for any updates, which I trustingly clicked on.

However, for whatever reason or state my computer was currently in (maybe due to many other web browser pages using up lots of resources in the background?), there was a brief period of full screen blinking/rolling/flashing then it went totally dark...

...and when it did not restore any time soon, and the cooling fans ran at full speed, I nearly panicked as I could not see anything. The CPU was apparently hard at work doing something (unseen/unknown) and my disk activity light was blinking a lot.

I tried various key presses to see if I could blindly log out, bring up Task Manager, turn off the wireless (in case my data was being siphoned away, or my PC was being converted to a zombie robot slave), etc., to no avail.

Force-cutting the power to OFF was my last resort, so instead I tried tapping the power button to initiate "sleep mode", which worked (thankfully).

After pressing the power button again to wake from "sleep", I was presented with a normal-looking user login screen again.

After logging in I could see that the SEO Checker "update" had merely opened a new web browser tab to the Vovsoft page for the product (which included a download link for the current/latest v4.5). Apparently that "cool-looking" animated/dynamic background for the web page had overloaded my graphics processor or CPU, causing the screaming fans and "blackout" of my screen. Whew, who knew...

Anyway, today's offer is for v4.5, and the downloaded file is named:

SEOChecker45-db28sy.zip

However, after installation, the program's "About" reports v4.4. I "may" return to the website to download and install v4.5, perhaps within a sandbox I can control (hopefully).

It has been over an hour and I have not received the link to download this software, Please do something.

A simple programme to help you understand more about the SEO content of your website(s).
It does not cover all issues and there is no explanation of how the results shown can affect the ranking of your website(s). That has to be searched for.
A small issue. When it was opened the first time, and even before I added the license the programme asked if I wanted to download an updated version. I chose not to as the T&Cs clearly state none are available. I did not want to break it before I had a chance to use it.
If you are new to SEO then I suggest you give this a try.
