Ok, finally got it to quit fighting with my AV software, which blocked access to files in "My Documents". When I restarted ScreenCamera.Net, it said it needed to repair the folder. It restarted, took several minutes to show a user interface. Then I got the message: "The next step is to open your video conferencing software, and select ScreenCamera.Net as the video source."
I thought this WAS video conferencing software, based on the description. Didn't know I needed another program in order to use this! I thought I could at least mix different sources together and save them to a file for upload to YouTube or to send to friends. The description needs to be clearer about what this actually does.

Oddly the version on their site is 1.4.7.10 which dates from 2016 with a signing time of 19 November 2016 16:00:47 and has Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2 tool installer bundled that remains installed. It does not support any modern video containers like MP4 or MKV etc only ancient AVI and WMV
This giveaway calls itself 1.4.5.41 and is smaller in size and lacks the Flash Media Live Encoder 3.2. It is also unsigned. It requires a real input pin for audio capture so will not capture soundcard output if your sound subsystem lacks stereo mixer or wavout INPUTS. On opening the program one of the promts it pops up is to ask us if we want to view tutorial video with Yes No buttons... If We select Yes button it launches systems default web browser at URL https://www.screencamera.net/ which has no videos or tutorials. This product fails to properly install it's driver properly and therefore fails to initialise it on program start so throws an error and suggests re-installing the program will correct the problem but of course it does not. Just one fail after another and no I am not going to put the old program designed and built with largely depretiated code and broken external links on any Windows 10 system.

Much too complicated for my needs. I need something without the lengthy learning curve. The video presentations are very difficult to follow because of the small screen area on my small laptop. The audio is not very good as well, so I had a hard time following what is said. Because of this and several other comments made by others, I will skip this Give Away today.

Is this available on Windows XP? Because the GUI is designed with Windows XP in mind.

angus stradamus, yes it's supposed to work on XP note that it only produces WMV or AVI video output so is rather antiquated..

Thanks. This fixed the problem.

Can it record a youtube video?

The main menu should be changed to have only:
1-Record
2-Live Stream
3-Setup
4-Transmit files, presentations or other pre-recorded videos
The software should do everything else in the background, like resolution and frames/sec and so on.
For most persons, this is unusable software. It crashes at the slightest error or file not found or missing drivers.

Cool idea, very complex execution. I can't imagine controlling, in real time of a video conference, such an application with endless menus and sub menus. the learning curve seems very steep.
for example, I couldn't find where to share an image, or display a document, but I'm sure it is somewhere there.
The idea to show a tutorial right away is great, but, it just sends me to their purchase page. couldn't find any tutorial, which is VERY needed.

AR,
It takes a while to learn. You can watch videos
https://www.pcwinsoft.com/screencameranet/video.asp
to accelerate the learning process.
It is quite controllable once you got all elements on the video output. You can have a desktop capture on the list of elements and when you click on it a toolbar shows up on the target monitor screen with all controls you need to zoom in a document like you cited or follow the cursor around. It doesn't take long to get used to it. You have to explore a bit but once you get used to it, it gives you video conferencing abilities you just can't have otherwise. Like you mentioned the concept is interesting, it is also fully reachable.

Ah; frustrating. I get a consistent error upon startup after successful installation in Win 10 x64 HP.
Cryptic diagnostics:
CNH => CEffectXML::LoadNodeFromEffectTag => Version of FXS Bellow Current
Tried unstalling, reinstalling with administrator privileges, same problem.
Suggestions?
