Hi!

This product is for outputting watermark on the monitor.
When you record a PC screen, you can record with watermark output
Or to output watermark to PC for demonstration.

For dual monitors, the same watermark is output on two monitors.

The default watermark is displayed on the screen immediately after installation.
And every time you change Watermark contents in options, the main program is moved to Tray-Bar after Watermark is applied.

If you have any question, please let me know

Can we use system environment variable like user name or computer name as the text to be displayed on screen?

On my HD laptop display (3840x2160 pixels) I had to adjust the properties of the application to apply High-DPI compatibility settings to make the app's main window work better (System Enhanced works OK).

I can see a great use for this for helping to preserve the IP (intellectual property) rights or copyrights of an original author or for publisher ownership identification when making, for example, PowerPoint slide shows, video proposals or other similar presentations to an audience via a video projector or large format TV.

Many times I have witnessed people snapping pictures during such events (mostly harmless) as a quick way to take notes or reminders; however, there may be more harmful competitive actors (industrial spies) at work as well.

Others here have suggested simply adding a watermark to images the "traditional" way. xSecuritas Screen Watermark is much easier to simply turn on/off as needed with some advantages I didn't realize until I tried it.

The pre-loaded default text includes the word "Confidential" inside a shield (as shown at the top) but ALSO includes an image of a padlock and in particular a live-clock date & time feature -- all in different pastel/transparent colors -- making each camera snapshot (or screenshot) different which could later be used to help uniquely identify the venue where someone had snapped each sequential camera shot; i.e., image file EXIF data not altogether necessary.

Aside from the default profile "Confidential" (which I think can be edited), there are 3 more profiles possible to edit and store. The name of the conference, or product, or author, etc., could easily be used to better identify the occasion or meeting where a particular presentation took place so as to customize each event. Far easier than repetively editing the image/slide/video files or documents themselves.

Having not tried, I don't know if this would also work over screen-sharing sessions (LogMeIn, LiteManager, TeamViewer, RAdmin, DameWare, et al), but if it did that would be another useful situation for having some sort of identification or warning throughout the session.

At the very least it should help discourage casual re-postings/"sharing" to the web of someone's original efforts. (This assumes, of course, that the watermark was not carefully erased using one of the other tools offered here on GOTD!)

One annoying thing I noticed is that the password used to register this app must also be used to start it up, access the main window, or exit it. Had I known that in advance I would have chosen a much shorter and easier-to-remember password!

Another issue is that I have my Taskbar set to auto-hide (and located on the left edge of the screen rather than the traditional bottom edge); yet when Screen Watermark is active the Taskbar jumps under other windows rather than on top of them. If a window is not preventing me I can click on an accessible inactive part of the Taskbar to get it to come to the "top", but if a window is big and the Taskbar slides under it I first have to move the window over to get access to the Taskbar so I can read it, click it to the top, or to expose the Screen Watermark icon -- a hassle that should be corrected.

Thanks, and looking forward to improvements.

I activated and immediately uninstalled. WTF? I didn't want that crap on every single page I display. I thought this would be useful to put a watermark on my webpages that visitors would see so they couldn't screen capture my info. This was totally useless.

The license key received is 10 digits only, and the program requires 20 digits, so it's not working.

Raoul,
Serial No consists of 20 digits, which is generated automatically.
The 10-digit key you received is the License Key, which you can use for unlimited use by registering it on the License Registration window
Thanks.

I have been struggling to think 'WHY?'

I am pretty sure this is one utility that i dont have a need for but i was wondering - - who would?

Terry I, Anyone who publishes photos or drawings would find this quite useful (assuming it works like they say it does) obviously it will not stop everyone from plagiarizing drawings and photos but it will certainly help.

Terry I, Yes I do agree with you. I don't need this and if someone wants something that bad to steal it, well why make it hard for him/her to take a watermark out, just give it to 'em.

Mark, I am thinking about watermarking my photos but I would use a watermark program that prints on the image, not on the screen. Your examples are not the people for this software. Think youtubers, twitch streamers etc
