Have been running this under IE7 since December 2nd. No problems at all. Excellent & highly useful software -- congrats to the developers and giveawayotd for drawing attention to it.

the games I am trying to grab with this work fine in its own window but after i save them I just can't get them to work, arghhhhhhh.

i can't stop the preview from downloading. i can only click on a small flash object, if there is one, to avoid the long download. if i go to a page which only has the flash object i want, and then select it for download, there are 3 downloads of the same thing going at once. this is a problem on dial up

I've found that if you don't tick the box at the end of the installation ("Close Intenet Explorer and run a demo of the software" or something like that) it won't work at all (there's no indication that it has been installed apart from the start menu folder). Uninstall it, then reinstall with that box ticked and it works.

It works fine, but since there appear to be plenty of free alternatives it's not something that I'd pay for.

Installs but there is no toolbar icon visible in IE6. Makes it impossible to use or register. Must be better software available for the money, at least something that installs as written in the manual.

Windows 98? Why would they put Windows 98 on a machine and test it for you? Not even Microsoft support anything to do with Windows 98 so how can you expect others. (dude ask fo your money back from these guys :-) )

Sigh, yet again your setup.exe does not work under windows98. If you are refusing to support all the versions of windows that the promoted application supports as a matter of policy then at least change the promo to exclude the win 9x from the System Requirements entries.
Does anyone from giveaway of the day read these comments?

Tried to save a youtube video and a suduko game. I didn't work for either. The files were saved but will not play. You only get the opening frame or an error message saying an xml file is missing. So it may depend on how they put the flash in a page. Too much hassle.

Everytime I click on the icon or go to save in Save Flash Internet Explorer shuts down. I don't have time to read the error message.

I too had trouble working out how to register. Open Internet explorer, and you should see its icon on the tool bar. Click that, and its window will open. On the top right of it, there is a small pull down menu with the option to register.

Ok, figured it out.
To get this to work with IE7 you have to go into Internet Options --> Advanced tab --> check "Enable 3rd-party browser extensions"

You also can save Flash games/movies/... with Firefox. And you don't need this software to do so. Go Extras-> Page information -> Media
and then search and save the embed links. then you can save them.

Or save the complete Site: File -> Save site as (you also can use the shortcut Crtl+S
