Well, there are many android data recovery app could help, and I think Coolmuster Lab.Fone for Android really works great, you can use it to recover lost sms, contacts, photos, videos, etc, have a try!

Installation: OK. Registration: OK. Use: takes ages to respond after clicking on the Start button (USB cable connection), seems frozen. When clicked on again, Windows launches its "application not responding" dialog. To no avail. Wi-Fi procedure didn't work too. My system: Windows 8.1 Pro (up-to-date) + 12 GB RAM, Intel Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80 GHz + NVIDIA GForce GTS 250.

Hi
It is now 07h29 on the 15 of November 2014.I downloaded and installed this program. It installed with no problem and then it said it is registered.I found the Short cut Icon on my desktop and clicked on it but nothing happens.I send the link to a few friends but I really regret that it does not work.I should have tried it before forwarding the info to all my friends that have Samsung phones.

Won't run. Click on installed icon and nothing happens. Tried compatability mode but still nothing. Running windows 8.1, tried Win7 in compat. mode!!!
To bad, would have liked to have ried it out but I can't register a program that won't even start!

I have a Samsung Mega

I've lost so much data/contacts over the
years that I jumped at this software....

Installed just fine... asked for my phone...

plugged the phone in and... got an error
message that there was no internet connection...

which was untrue....

I started the software again and it whirled
and whirled and stopped whirling for hours

nothing happened

It's registered... just doesn't work ;(

Installed; no problems.
But when I tried to run it, nothing happened.
Closed the .exe with taskmanager. tried again; nothing.
I never got the change to try it, let alone register it.
The only thing I saw on my desktop was the shortcut after installation.
Uninstalled.

I wonder how many disliked this offer due to the fact they do not own a Samsung device? Sort of defeats the REAL purpose of that rating system.

Like Karl, I first thought "(and surely all other Android devices) via…" Until I visited the website, and saw that they do have 2 distinct products. Samsung Data Recovery and Android Data Recovery (with a Pro of this product). Note the different packaging on this very page. Top of this page has Samsung Data Recovery where right above "Comments" section, the Android Data Recovery package appears. Also, Android Data Recovery has a flashing "NEW" next to it on the Tenorshare site, and that product is now at version 4.0.

Without going into what I found on the non-Samsung products "Guides" (see "Rooting"), I'm assuming that the wide gap in version numbers for the two products indicates they took their Android version, and have modified it to perform some verification that it's a Samsung device, as well as making recovery possible on devices that don't require the system state be modified before using.

Downloaded and installed, or so I thought, all I got was an icon on my desktop that wasn't linked to anything ... Tried again and this time it did install but couldn't get it to connect to any of my devices, tried every trick in the book but nope .. no can do. I'm really glad I wasn't stupid enough to shell out £79.95 for this otherwise their customer services would have been hearing from me. A very poor effort indeed. Uninstalled ...

I had no problems installing and registering.
I could not connect my Galaxy Note 3. I checked USB Debugging and still no connection, on my Note 3 I get a message
"Unfortunately, Tenorshare Android Data Recovery Service has stopped."
I tried numerous times with the same result.

I have a lot of Samsungs and root them and install custom ROM's all the time so I know my way around them quite well. I tried this on a stock galaxy S4 which is rooted with USB debugging on (it's normally left on as I need it on often but double checked anyway). Started program and given a screen showing how to turn on debug. Clicked 'Start' and get a popup window with the spinning circle. No way to close that. Let it run for several minutes but it does not connect. After seeing a lot of data running on my router and 2 requests from this program and ADB.exe (common tool for connecting to androids) I ran Wireshark to see what was being transferred. No nefarious problem apparent there. After several minutes waiting for it to connect the only way to shut down this program was with the Task manager. Tried 2 more times waiting several minutes each time but it never connects. Without touching anything at all I fired up Total Commander and immediately connected to my phone where I can look at the internal memory as well as the SD card. UNINSTALLING. Worthless.

User-friendly Interface & Zero Data Damage

The interface of this Samsung data recovery software is very easy-to-understand. No extra instruction is needed.
The recovery won't cause any damage, deletion, modification to the data on your Samsung device.

This software needed more instructions. As Karl instructed, you have to allow Debugging to get the software to work. All I see is "Installing drive please wait". How long do I have to wait?

I cannot find where to register the software?

I tried to find the "Samsung Data Recovery" software at the "Play Store". There is no software, I could find that has that title.

Giveaway, to say the least, I am very disappointed in this software.

It has been 30 minutes and the software is still installing? Do I shut it down in the middle of the installation?

Please follow up on further instructions.

Be interesting to know why today's developer seems to be so anxious to make it appear that this app works only with one brand of Android device.

Be even more interesting to know why Samsung has lent its name to this app by way of product endorsement.

Until that's clarified, my instinct is to stay well clear, even if my sense of humor has been greatly stimulated by the developer's hilarious $80 re-install price. Thanks, Tenorshare, for the laugh!

There where a lot of leftovers after uninstalling . . . . . .
The first program in my very long PC history that does not run at all!! The programers should pay their customers instead of the other way around. The worst I have seen here in many years.

I upgrade Android system on my Samsung S4, before this I forgot backing up the phone data, all has gone. Mainly I want to recover my contact, I have tried this program,it worked, it helped me recover all contacts. Later, I used this to recover SMS, documents and other files, 95% data are recovered, maybe later I wrote data to my phone.

Installed and registered without problems on a WIN 8.1.2 Pro 64 bit system.

A friendly window in nice colors opens, you can connect your Samsung Devices (and surely all other Android devices) via...

Well, ahem...

I connected my Samsung via USB cable, it happened: nothing. Disconnected and connected again - nothing. No error message, no sign, that the software recognizes anything. Nada, nil, null.

Samsung KIES does not work in the background.

http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=16463118

The help file tells me, that I must allow USB debugging. Okay, I did it (knew, that that was the problem) - but NO message from the program side.

I allowed USB debugging in the Android settings and ... waited, waited...

http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=12089367

The program did not finish. I restarted the program again and connected... the connection failed.
http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=55461171

After the a second attempt, the connection was working. Helas!
http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=19900564

The Quick scan found no deleted messages or contacts (but there have been), but photo, video and 2 other files.
http://www1.xup.to/exec/ximg.php?fid=10348427

This recovery worked.

But: Dear programmer, the installation process should be reworked, installed correct error messages, completed messages, showing timeouts.

This is not version 1.1, this is still version 0.8 Beta. Make a really working version 1.2 and give a free update to the users here.

Uninstalled via reboot - could be a good program some versions later.
In the meantime I use KIES for BACKUP - the magic word
