Is our world this bad that we have to complain about not getting something for free without having to do something in return? I know that it has become a society of expecting something for doing nothing but to sit and complain because you have to enter a contest is a little too much. I suppose you want to win Lotto or Mega Millions and not buy a ticket too.
The site has done what it said it would do.When this was posted there was also another program that was given away for free. This program was given as an option that you could choose to enter or not. And to complain about it not giving ever code in the trial version is almost as bad.Look at all of the other "FREE" programs out there where they tell you after you have downloaded the program that you need to pay to unlock all of the features that you was led to believe was free in the first place.
The fact that this was not promoted as free but as a contest says it all.Nobody forced you to even open the page. That was your choice. You was free to pass up on the contest or to take a free chance on getting it for free by doing one of the same things you need to get any other free program, post it to Facebook to get the immediate download.
Just saying....

I agree with Tranmontane 110%. The last time I tried to enter one of these contests, I spent an hour and ended up with no entry at all because I couldn't figure out exactly how it worked. So who's to blame? Me for being stupid or the contest for being too obtuse? And don't suggest the free trial. What good is a trial unless you actually are missing a code right now within the trial period. This is a type of software you want to have on hand for future problems. And for security reasons, I don't do Facebook.

I think they should either give this away -- or not bother. It is a bit frustrating to find you can't GET it simply by coming here and downloading it....
I don't know what other people may think, but I believe this is "Giveaway" of the day, not "Chance of getting" a programme... and a pretty small chance, at that.

Tranmontane, also I don't like how we have to enter contests to win.

Tranmontane, I agree 100% - and I'll not bother with it. I guess with social marketing what it is today, that you can't blame them for wanting to try such a scheme to get their product more widely known. But, I would bet that most of us who frequent this site don't have the time nor inclination to play these games. Hence, the no comments until half the day is gone. Usually by this time there are many comments about products offered here. This is a BIG no thank you.

bkp,
Totally agree. Cannot blame this. These companies are trying hard to advertising on social media, where a lot of people are. One easy way in doing that is trying to boast their "like" total on their FB page.
