Another bug! pressing Alt-F4 quits the data entry screen and the rest of the program instantly... That event needs to be disabled too along with the others I've mentioned, in prior comments, if the claim:

"•Your screen is locked so prospects cannot access your computer/ tablet when they enter their info into Prospects;"

Is ever going to have a hope of being true!

I downloaded and installed it. where do I apply for the activation code? I didi not see it anywhere.

Another apparent bug if I disable any of the collect boxes the Save button is NEVER enabled when all data fields are completed.
Another bug, the Adv... option on the collect box settings has a check box for "Validate email address" does not appear to enable any data formatting checks on the submitted data.

Further to the earlier bug report on lack of input sanity checking, there is none in the Options gui either, one can place unlimited length strings in the collect box labels and if we make the string too long it ceases to render the characters in the edit box but still accepts the further input, at some point when Apply is pressed the Save button on the final collection object on the screen vanishes. There needs to be some restraints applied to those label input boxes to prevent improper operation of the input boxes and the resultant collection object.

The name "Prospects" gave me the impression I could use this software for tracking sales leads/contacts throughout the entire sales cycle (e.g., cold calling, conversations/calls journal, next step/next contact reminder, etc.), but it seems like it's geared for customer demos at conventions and trade shows. I was on your website looking for screenshots of the main information or data-entry screens but couldn't find any. Could you please elaborate as to the primary capabilities of the program.

BTW, speaking of the website, it was extremely difficult to read anything due to the main text panels utilizing a color scheme of light grey (practically white) on a white background. I had to override the CSS just to be able to read the page. It's very user un-friendly; I hope you fix it at some point.

I found that prospects theme caused the incorrect parameter errors while unicorn theme appears to work as expected, including a significant bug in the way input data is handled!

The input form has no apparent sanity checks, no filtering relevant to the type of data being entered and the storage medium being used. The end user can input "," commas and they are passed unfiltered into the comma separated values file throwing off the alignment of the CSV database fields! Sometimes when people write their addresses they put a comma after each line, especially if they are forced into entering the entire address onto one line like they are here! I wonder what input string length would be required to provoke a buffer overflow error in the input or CSV output procedures?

Is there any way to preview the numerous Styles in program before use or are we supposed to try them all out completely before we can make an informed choice? If the latter it feels like my time would be better spent doing other things!
Why do I get stuck on a full screen layout of a data collection page when I load prospects over the default unicorn and I cannot proceed of save or do anything further save drag and drop elements and type data into the form fields but on trying to press save multiple alert boxes pop up announcing "The Parameter is incorrect" when I mouse over the Save button, no indication of WHAT parameters are incorrect!

I can't access any help on that screen or hints or gain any indication of the state of the development timeline I am currently stuck in... It looks like I will be forced to launch Task Manager and end the task and shrug shoulders in exclamation of how unrewarding that experience was!
Fortunately I did select the option to read the readme file at the end of the installation so did learn what was supposed to launch the Help file, but that information did not work, pressing F1 key in the Options window did NOT launch the prospects_help.pdf file! I had to dig it out from the Help menu manually.

From what I've read in the so called help file it appears the page I am stuck in is the actual data gathering page and not a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) edit screen and the settings are hidden from the potential hacker by a couple of keyboard shortcuts and the Windows key still works when in that screen as does Alt-TAB and Alt-WIN so the computer is not protected from enquiring minds that may know the Quit and Options keyboard shortcuts... I'd need to disable all those system control keys and password protect access via the Quit and Options keyboard shortcuts. Not to forget that the screen I am stuck in allows me to edit the page layout, drag and drop and move elements around ad OFF the screen!

Even if I got this to work in a visually engaging and impressive manner it appears too easy to bring down and would not cultivate a strong confidence in my or my companies ability to protect gathered data from thieves when I can't even protect the data input device from the most simple experimentation!

Maybe I'm overlooking something, or does this program not have a import/export feature?

There's a basic explanation and some screenshots on the "How it Works" page. It looks like after you have created an account (bronze account), you make (or change an existing page) an online page for the event for which you want to collect info. At the event, you present the potential contact with a laptop or tablet and the potential contact enters info on the event's IAS form page.

Does IAS exclusively collect email addresses - i.e., is this strictly so you can populate a mailing list and nothing else? or can the collection form be modified to include name/address, or other details as desired-even if it has to be entered manually?

Can collection be integrated with a company's website (probably with subscription) or with email responses?

Do you export/import (whichever is appropriate for the situation) your existing email database and IAS data so that you have one combined database with which to populate your email list ?

Aside from emailing, will you be able to combine your company's existing contact/email database with your IAS data for one primary database and then break out or target specific email groups (events, but also other defined criteria as needed)?

My company does it with a special script in an excel program and there is no limit on entries or users, most clients enter in their own windows the demographics and we follow up on each client.
This software, I guess does the same thing but licensing it will cost a fortune, we have over 400 computers and field offices and learning to use it will require some time and money.
If the developer wants to acquire new business, this software must be given free to try it on servers and cloud applications. Nobody will just buy it without knowing that the old d-base can be transferred to this software or this software may be missing a feature that is already in existence and essential in our present software.

The showcase links in their homepage are already not using this. The developer hasn't updated the showcase?

I downloaded to look at it.
1. It didn't open the progam when I selected "Open on completion" and hit submit.
2. When I started Prospects, it said, "There is a monitor program running. Please delete it and start again."
No way! I use Display Fusion, I paid for it, I love it, and it works great. I didn't get Prospect for a monitor program, I downloaded it to read the help file.
3. This is a one computer license. If I download it on my desktop but I want to use it on my laptop at a convention, how do I do that?

Screen shots of the program would be nice to see ... That way it would be possible to see what is being downloaded and how useful it might be.

Also for Prospects 2016's asking price, you would think there would be
far more literature available...
Hope it works well for people who download & install it, but I'm out.
