Photo Stamp Remover is a photo correction utility that can remove watermarks, date stamps and other unwanted objects that appear on photographs. Offering a fully automatic process, the program uses an intelligent restoration technology to fill the selected area with the texture generated from the pixels around the selection, so that the defect blends into the rest of the image naturally.
What takes hours to correct using the clone tool, can be accomplished in a minute using Photo Stamp Remover.

After downloading and starting installation an activation popup screen requesting email address. I filled my email address in 4 times over 6 hours and I am still waiting for the activation which has still not arrived. Too late now any way. I also emailed Soft Orbits support on download day and have not yet had the courtesy of a reply!

I don't know what or if anything is wrong with this site today, but I tried downloading this program by using the send to email link and never received an email with the link to the download page. I tried twice thinking maybe I put my email in wrong the first time, but it has been a couple of hours and I still haven't received an email from GOTD with the download link and I have checked my spam folder. This has never happened before so I thought I would let someone know.

welcome by blocking messages + "access denial",
keep on disabling AVs(Panda GP, Kerish Doctor) + Windows Defender,
then can install & run the s/w.
checked, it is registered to GOTD.
thanks GOTD & SoftOrbits.

Further to my previous comment:

I made a mistake, and did not read ALL the previous comments carefully. When I finally got around to doing this... oh dear, just as previous GOTDers had warned, one of my favourite GOTD programs had become de-registered! So I have uninstalled this (by doing a System Restore, to get rid of any unwanted registry entries), and am now painting up a placard to carry in the 'Boycott SoftOrbit' protest march!

Installed, ran - great! Its a keeper! Feedback:

1. Some of the selection tools do not work properly. E.g. the Selection Marker offers variable width, with both a slider and a box with a number, default = 50. The slider works OK, but it is only short, making fine-tuning of width very difficult. It might be better to be longer and vertical. The number box, however, simply does not work - I can select but not change the number. I've tried both the main numbers and numberpad. The number boxes for the Color Selector have the same problem.

2. There is a big button on the toolbar called 'Remove': this does NOT seem to remove, merely to display a Remove Toolbox, where you can press yet another 'remove' button. I suggest renaming the first button to 'Toolbox'.

I'm using Win10 with lots of RAM etc.

This is ridiculous and has never happened to me before. In spite of "Active Giveaway time left: 10 hours 45 minutes." right here at GOTD, when I use I try to =>

"During the installation, click the "Get Free Activation Key",

the page you get stunning claims "Offer is expired".
So what's going on?????

this appears to be a trial offer. I installed it over my old version and it deactivated the original license, so now I do not have a working version.

Regarding the deregistration issue, we have the assurance that our personal full version key will "permanently and fully activate the software". This suggests that it has been a problem in the past, although I have tried several of their programs without experiencing it and have found them useful, particularly Inpaint (replaced by Photo Retoucher?).
Like others I have tried, this one works on XP even though it is not shown as supported in the system requirements.

BAW30s, InPaint is by TeoreX, not SoftOrbits, which is why it works well and has no deregistration issues.

Installed/reg'd without issues. TANX GOTD! I had an older version on a pc that got stolen, and I never realized just how much I used this until I didn't have it on my new laptop. Great prog especially if you download .jpg/.jpeg files often.

Installed perfectly on Windows 7 64 bit. Follow the directions included in the program once it's downloaded. You'll get two more e mails, the last w/ the license code. Works great! I wish they had a program like this that worked on girlfriends. "POOF! See ya, Sweetie,"

Quoting Soft Orbit setup: "Activate account - Please check your emails now".
Otherwise good except one minor detail: that E-mail never shows up...

Ootje,
Thanks for the examples. It made a good job of the first ones that were trivially easy, and a fair mess of the last one that was tricky.

This is common to such tools and of course the real test is how they deal with the difficult cases. This one doesn't seem better than average. In fact, its name implies that it's mainly intended for removing stamps or tags, not objects.

A word of caution. This software house has a reputation for deregistering registered software from GOTD seemingly at will.
Check some previous offerings and the comments they got before installing.

Pressing "Get Free Activation Key" resulting in error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click ok to close the application."

I tried to open my previous installation to find it's version number and two pop ups, one to notify of an update (which can't be turned off) and another to offer a discount on the latest version resulted in the program crashing and being therefore rendered USELESS. I tried several times, and the same happened, on two computers.

This is from SoftOrbits..... beware!
In the past their "giveaways" have mysteripously reverted to trial mode after a limited time - or have effectively deregistered other programs from the same company. Unless the company gives a solemn undertaking to stop this insidious practice, I for one will blacklist them.
Any comments, SoftOrbits?

fairplay, I couldn't have said it better. "Beware" is right, and I doubt that this problem has been fixed, after experiencing it too many times in the past.

Reply   |   Comment by Suze  –  6 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+11)

fairplay, Not only that, but they use the windows registry to record every key stroke and time and day of use and I assume they pull that info to their d-base to track what you are doing. After a while the registry may crash and take your computer with it.
If you do not believe it, just make a copy of the registry before and after the installation and few uses of their software. Thousands upon thousands of new entries occurred.

fairplay, I have a previous version of this program when it was offered here over a year ago. It is still activated. One of the first things you need to do with any program that you get from GOTD is make sure the automatic updates are not checked. Unless a program gives you a time frame, any of these programs will revert to trial if it gets updated.

Reply   |   Comment by Velvet  –  6 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-2)

San,
this could be true, that is why my Win10 os keep on blocking this s/w to be insatalled.

My previous version has been unregistered "automatically" after some time.
Has this issue been fixed or not yet?
I mean, why bother try full version, if you know, it will revert to trial anyway.
