The installation and registration was straight forward, but I didn't like it is programmed to install itself in the root directory of the C:\ drive. Though it lets one change the path to the 'Program Files' directory, it still creates other auxiliary directories back at the root site ( C:\p2ecore & C:\Output ). Also, when you are in the program, you can choose a different path for your output directory, but once you exit the program, it will point back again to C:\Output again the next time you start the program.
I tried it out on a variety of PDF files I had. The results were mixed. Images were ignored (but that's fine with me) and all the text data seemed to get all transferred over to EXCEL.
I can foresee this being a handy tool in certain situations. However, I couldn't think of any practical use for it based on the PDF files I tried it on, since the converted output tended to deviate quite a bit from the original formatting of the PDF file.
I liked that it automatically generated separate conversions to Excel files formats XLS, XLSX, & Xml.
In my tests, as I expected, the XML format seemed to give the best results; followed by XLSX.

I was able to install to d:\program files (86)\
However it did install others to c:\ root which is a negative to me also

Does it require Excel to be installed on the computer. Will the files it creates open in Libre Office.

StanTheMan, is this program better than any online converter? There are a lot of free online ones out there, but I'm not sure about how good of a job they do.
