FWIW I disable Kaspersky before doing an install but I don't bother to restart. So far that's been good enough for me to install a number of GOTD programs. I have Windows 7 Pro.

Just used the program. Found it to be quite delightfully intuitive, and easy to use. Perfectly split pages from a larger file, and then rotated the ones that need to be done, both quickly and correctly. A real keeper. Thanks to the PDF Shaper folks and GOTD.

Looks useful but I don't need it at the moment so I can only comment on installation, which went very well on Windows 10 Home Edition 64 bit. I believe someone mentioned Burn Aware is from the same company, I expect PDF Shaper would be very good software if it's of the same quality as the latter as I would expect. Good software with easy interfaces.

The programme will "split files". Does it only do this into whole pages? Or can it also split pages? The latter would eb useful to me, the former just a waste of time, as Acrobat will do it.

Zoran Kocev, Please note that due to the Themida wrapper usage your installation might be blocked by your antivirus (AVG, Avast or Kaspersky)!
This will result in no program installed on your PC even if your antivirus reports no files are blocked.
In order to install the program, you'll have to temporally disable your antivirus.
If you have Kaspersky antivirus, disable it and restart the computer.
Please make sure it won't start automatically with the computer.
Now please download the program archive once again and try to install it.

Easy install on Windows 7 Home. I have used it to number and watermark a 60 page PDF and it was faultless, really professional looking. Enough editing options to personalise it. The process took just seconds after clicking process. Delighted with this software and something I have been look for.

Magnolia, Don't know of any excellent free one. Best inexpensive one I found was by Nuance. Their pdf converter has been excellent for years - maybe look for PDF Converter Pro 7. Not the current version, but still excellent and probably for sale somewhere inexpensively. If you want an OCR program, and nothing else, try Omnipage Pro, the old Scansoft OCR, also now owned by Nuance and not free. In the OCR field, you DO get what you pay for.

Magnolia, Just occurred to me - Google Abbyy Finereader 5. It's also an old version, but works well, and is often available for no charge. The current version is 14, I think.

Magnolia, The comparison table says that the version just above Premium has "ocr support." I'm not sure how "ocr support" differs from ocr, though. Try Finereader 5, which can often be found free on the internet (current version is 14). For reasonably priced OCR software, try Nuance. I have had more success with flawless OCR with their products than with Acrobat.

I like pdf shaper software and their pre-activation system. Some software company like franzis, stellar and and their activation system are very complex.
But pdf shaper activation procedure is easy and nice. Thanks pdf shaper and gotd team.

Whichever option I select, for example "PDF to Text", File/Open only lists files of type "Pdf Shaper file list (*.psf)". I can't therefore select a PDF file to open, although drag & drop from file explorer works ok.

I got this on another giveaway. I was able to copy the installed folder onto a memory stick and it remained fully registered. Si it appears to be portable even if it was meant to be.
