I already have 4.7 of this from 2019. I found the changelog for 4.8 which only says "Compatible with latest Windows 11". I'm not using Windows 11 so if that's the only change in 3 years, I'll stick with 4.7. I found it odd the About option in the menu doesn't list the version. Too bad there are so few comments on these giveaways nowadays.

Please make sure you read the description of this software and understand its purpose and limitations. Downloaded, decompressed and loaded with no issues. Added serial and I used it on a PDF document. The OCR worked very well, almost flawlessly. However, it did not keep the formatting. As such, this program will not keep the document intact and "permit" you to edit it as some high-end software can do. I didn't read the details before my test. To my knowledge, there are plenty of PDF programs out there but very, very, very few will convert it to an edible document. So, while this program works well, it will not fit my particular needs or desires. I would not take points away from it other than the fact that it doesn't retain the formatting, photos, etc.
