Not mentioned, though perhaps obvious, is that you need a copy of MS Word installed. So not helpful in converting for use with LibreOffice, etc. It does convert to RTF in that case.

Paul Wright, why do you need a copy of MS Word installed? Plenty of 3rd party word processors that can produce and read old DOC/DOCX and RTF files without having to jump on the MS OFFICE bandwagon.

Paul Wright, yikes! I never got that far but did have an old copy of Office XP installed so that may have been recognised as usable... but they should put that in system requirements for DOC/DOCX generation.

Not impressed. I tried a PDF with text and images and the program did a credible job but would only save the file as RTF, claiming Word was not installed (it is). I then tried a clean scan of text and it simply imported the file as images. When I opened the same file in Word, word did an OCR conversion.
Hard to see the point of a program to convert between Word and PDF that is less capable than Word itself.

Seems to be a 1-year licence. I wish vendors would be explicit about the term.

Benasp, you'd think the inclusion of the word "unlimited" means unlimited as in non-expiring, where did you see indications of a 1 year license term? I saw no overt indication and did not roll the date forward to test... I uninstalled it for other reasons seeing as I already have programs that perform the same and more functionality.

I generally don't comment on these things, but this is actually impressive. I converted two PDFs, one mostly text and the other with lots of pics and tables. Both converted to DOC files with no errors! Perfect. Wow, first time this has happened.
