You must follow the instructions exactly. I created an account using the link in the readme with a SIX position password. I installed the software and ran it. It said it was a trial version. I then logged in and it now says the 1 year license is active. I have not tested the software yet.

vasimo, followed all instructions ... the software does not change from 3 day Trial to a 1 year license.
I'm not wasting anymore time trying to download ... tried 3 times and am deleting all that has been installed.
Obviously, you and a FEW others have a more positive experience ... Me, I'm a novice ... and this is not what I would consider as easy as other GOTD software downloads and activitions.

I downloaded and installed it. Interestingly it seems to insist that the program's window stay in the main monitor. I have a 3 monitor set up and when I try to move the app to a different window it stops partway between windows and will not move. I've never seen this before

Would like to see an option to save audio at original bitrate (and/or original format). A lot of sites will have audio at much less than 320kbps, and converting from low bitrate to high bitrate doesn't improve the quality.

Yeah downloading instructions are frustrating .. tried 3 times ... nothing came thru as promised ... No matter how many times I went to the prescribed website and downloaded ... I continue to receive the notice "3 day Trial Version."

The software simply looks for video clips and converts them to music files. You can do the same with Google and any video converter...Quality of music in a clip is bad but at least it is legal because these clips, mostly on YouTube, are freely available...The 320Kb/s rate is artificially pumped up from low rates. But at least it gives you the possibilty to get some free music for your PC or mp3 player. So OK

Windows 10 had a problem opening a certain file in the installation package. I retried but it wouldn't continue even when i selected ignore. Is the installation package created correctly? Or is it refusing to install because of a malformed dll or other file?

It doesn't exactly inspire any deal of confidence in a company that can't even remember an email address and password that was only setup minutes before. Total Wankers!
First, they didn't indicate that a password needs to be between 6 and 18 characters long, where I'd registered an account with a password that was 20 characters long.
Of course, I clicked on the link stating that I'd forgotten my password when I found that I couldn't login. They DID send a password reset to my email address, indicating that my email address had been recognised, but when I tried to login to my account with an 18 character password, the fools are indicating that either my email address or password was incorrect.
MAYBE they should get their finger out and sort out what they're doing. Total muppets!

Works well on my old Windows 7 32-bit test PC. Download speed was a bit slow for an album at 95 KB/second but works all right so far.

Interesting - it's a web browser.
Browse to free [ browserspy. dk ] to inspect it - it's 'Google'.
If there's video available, that's offered, too, like free Abelssoft's YouTube Song Downloader, it gets videos if you want them, too.
I found the download 'overlay', a little dancing circle with a down-arrow ( ↓ ), in the lower right corner of the screen, UNDER any other popup our computer might be displaying.
Note, no popups from this program have an [ x ] to close them, instead there a separate ( x ) floating nearby, look around for it if you want to close a popup window.
One problem - I could find no way to download a PLAYLIST from YouTube, as free Abelssoft's YouTube Song Downloader can - playlists are a true 'batch'.
Otherwise, in this program, 'batch' is hand-picked, one at a time, to build a batch, there's no way to select all songs on a page as far as I can see.
Kudos for implementing a novel away to find and download individual audio/video.
I'll try it on lectures to see if it works on any site, really.
Improvements I recommend are:
- make the download popup more obvious
- make the popup closer inside the window,
- get playlists.
