Not worth the time and effort as far as I can tell. I did go to the web site and played around with a couple of Pixabay images I have on my system, it locked up several times and the effects are poor quality. I can get much better stuff on my phone for free.

It's basically what many free phone apps offer, albeit they are usually ad supported. I share the same concerns as others regarding uploading photos but wouldn't be using it for anything I was worried about, only for pictures I was going to share online anyway. I didn't have any issues with speed, the effects seemed to be applied about as quickly as using an equivalent phone app.
My one issue, if it is, would be there seems to be no way to change your password. If you have to paste in the code they email you when joining it's not exactly memorable!

DawkinsDog, Hi, thank you for your feedback.
We are working to create this program for Desktop.
And then you don't have to enter your key all the time.

For security reasons, I never upload or download photos online to be modified, furthermore, everything you send using Internet, never gets deleted and becomes a part of the archives forever.

Sol, Have to agree; not a fan of the Cloud either.

Pretty cumbersome and too simplistic, there is no preview or anything of how the filters look before applying them and it also takes a while until they are applied at all. So you basically have to sift through all the filters manually (and there are dozens, they all look similar just with different names) until you find the one that you want to use. Too time consuming and not very user-friendly.

Nice effects.
Having to upload YOUR image file to their site to be manipulated - NO THANKS.
I'd rather maintain control over my images by being able to use their rather nice image effects, locally on MY computer in an installed application, rather than sending them to be manipulated (stored?) on THEIR server.

i tried the site out and some of the effects are pretty slow to apply.
There are plenty of special effects with weird names that dont help identify the effect either.
Overall a very cumbersome way to add effects to any photos (No batch convert either) and I would say that I can produce similar from a lot of installed FREE programs with less hassle.
Look to the free Photoscape which is my preferred choice of software for photo manipulation such as this.
I might revisit the site when I am bored but doubt I wil be making good use of it. Personally I dont see the point of it especially as everyone and their Nan can do this kind of 'trickery' and no-one is impressed by it any more, so apart from the odd photo taken for the express purpose of ageing, I cant see it being used.
