I have read and reread the readme.txt.

I have the key. I check have key. I browse for it. I find it and highlight it. It always comes back with the past notice. I close and open and try again. No luck.

Please don't tell me to read the file.

First I read some complains about activation process, which is not fare if you compare with so many other products such as 3DS Max, AutoCAD and etc...
Then the software is well designed and categorized options which really helpful to resize the images.

How are you guys activating this as mine says time period is over. I tried activating this using the ReadMe text about a half hour ago I got the same thing.

The software does what it says perfectly and I'm going to use it from now on. Various method to resize and also supporting the common image formats.
Also faced with license expiry issue which their support team fixed it quickly.

Getting this activated, it says the trial period ended and go to the website?! I already have the license I downloaded after going to the website and putting my information in. And it doesn't work! :( Will they be emailing me something like directions. Not sure how to proceed, this should be simpler! (Also had problems with yesterday's giveaway but the company at least emailed me the serial, will it be the same with this?!)

OK I am having the same issue as others. Can't get a key code to open the software After browsing for the readme folder and selecting it, I get a message indicating that the time period is over and that I need to go to their website. i sent an email requesting for the code and waiting. does this take awhile?

You have to put the Lic.mz_lic in the MSTech install folder for it to be active

Installed license key and got the meeseage: "The activating period has been finished".

Opening the license key is SO DIFFICULT and unfortunately I don`t have succeed , why do not make it simple ?,

Activating period was finished early - I feel tricked!

I tried registering MSTech Image Resize using the .lic file received from the mstech-co.com site and get the message "The activating period has been finished. please upgrade your license through the website. There are still 1hr 21 min left in the giveaway, but I can't register the software.

Even though it says I still have 2 hours left to activate here in australia, when I try it tells me the Activation period has expired, so will now uninstall, and I followed all the instructions correctly

2 hrs 2 mins left of giveaway. I followed instructions & the dang thing told me that the giveaway had already EXPIRED. WTH?? I guess I'll stick to the ever Free FastStone Photo Resizer.

I did all the readme form said now it's still to wait for email registration? This is just too confusing, could've resized a picture or 2 by the time I was done.

What a badly thought out registration process. I won't download a file from an unknown source and give it access to my computer. A better way would be to include the key in the readme file. There are too many other alternatives to risk my system on some type scheme like this. thank you for the offer but I will pass.

Downloaded, and read and tried activation many times ( followed readme file to a T ). Keep on getting activation has ended. Have had to uninstall.

Definitely something wrong with the activation. Read both readme files that goes with the app download and the license download, and followed the instructions stated but still fails with the activation. The message says " The activating period has been finished. please upgrade your license through the website." Strange message since the license was given out after going thru the process on the website as what is stated on the readme file that goes with the downloaded app. I have browsed through the messages of others having the same experienced with activation, but the reply was as always "go and read the readme file" which is not correct. Please have a look on this as I assumed that the license file given to those who had experienced this kind of trouble had expired (activating period has been finished?).

Giveaway of the day!
There's something wrong with this giveaway. So, please, understand me and don't tell me see the readme file, because I saw and understood it (and I saw the Pdf file of the provider and understood it too), and I followed all the instructions, but at the end I receive exactly this response: "Activating period has been finished, please upgrade your license through the website.". So, the software doesn't accept the "Lic.mz_lic" license file provided and considers it as expired.
Any solution to this?

Downloaded and installed on Windows 10 - 64. Followed the instructions in the Readme file, downloaded and unzipped the licence file, then followed everything as per comment #11.

But keep getting the message "The activating period has been finished, please upgrade your license through the website". The programme then closes.

Tried uninstalling, re-downloading, requesting another licence, and repeating the whole process but keep getting the same message and software refuses to activate.

It's currently 01:43am on 25 June 2017 (UK BST), and the GAOTD time remaining to activate the software is showing as "07 hours 16 mins..", and the Readme file states the software needs to be installed and activated by 26th June 2017. I'm still well within those times.

Usually resize program only let you make picture smaller or just a tiny bit larger. Can this program resize to a much much larger (ex: 4x4 to a 12x12 picture without distorting them?

Been working at Activation for over and hour with no success, And Yes, I have read the 'read me' file and sent my email activation info. and have even stood on my head!

Went to activate the software and got the message that the license has expired. Should of had one more day to activate. Going to have to uninstall.

Not worth the trouble to get the key. This company needs to work for the CIA that needs heightened security.

System Requirements:

Windows XP or Higher; .Net Framework 4.0 or higher

As far as i know, you can't install Net framework 4 on XP.

Like others I didn't receive a text key, though I'm not sure if that was intended.

Am I correct in assuming the downloaded Lic.mz_lic should be placed in the MSTech install folder? Because I tried that and I don't get any "trial nag" window when the program launches.

The form asks for the serial number. What is the that number? This is the most complicated activation that I have ever experienced with GOTD.

I really wanted to try this program even though I have other program that will do the job but this sounds simple and straightforward,however I was put off but two things , first I find the program rather big for whats it is suppose to do but ok a few extra modules might have bloated it a bit but my main worry is the registration process i can live with everything up to the point that i have to download a registration file , we all are aware how malware virus and ransomware are distributed , you click on a file , pic or open an e-mail and you are infected with a problem , so why send me a file to an already too big program in order to register it ?? , why not do as all other well known software companies and send me sixteen letters and figures to enter into the program ? , I am not going to question the makers intention or integrity but a file any file is much too effy for me to try but thanks very much for offering your program to us for free , which very much i could have tried it , sorry .

Why do you make it so hard (impossible) to get the key, after purchasing your software?
Just include the key in the email.

Downloaded, installed and licensed with no issues. Windows 10 - 64.

Works quickly - seems instant. I use it by right clicking on an image and choosing "MSTech Image Resize." Lots of flex as to how the file is handled. It's only a few seconds to click the drop down choices. I wish that the various drop down boxes could have defaults. I'd really like to put resized images in a particular folder which is not in the drop down and that requires a lot of drilling down the drive structure. But that is just a wish. I like this program.

How to open a .lic file?

I do not like this complicated licensing key.
You could give the key in the Read me file.

Interesting registration process.
No need to use a real name or eMail addy so no worries there.
The way I registered it was to go to the address and fill out form. Then you have another Zip to open and I placed my (Unzipped) file on the desktop and let the registration process locate it from there. Close & Open. Success.

MSTech image resizer seems to be good for what its supposed to do.

One thing that is useful is that to open, simply drag a photo onto the desktop icon. Options also include rotation or/and renaming of photos as well as change photo format.

Batch has a good search function as well.
All in all a good looking and nicely laid out offering.
A keeper for me.

Can't run image resize my anti virus programs deletes a file in it and the icon won't work when you click on it plus when I try to go to the page to reg. it won't load up
