I'm a little ticked. I downloaded and installed this version update, but the program won't let me "update" to the new "Giveaway" Code. I even tried deleting the earlier version and restarting the computer, but the newer version of this program does not extend my free use time.
If it's a new "Giveaway of the Day" and not just a free update, shouldn't my free use period start when I install the program?

I have found with Mobikin programs that the key cannot simply be updated and an uninstall/new install must be done. I am unsure if this applies only to giveaways.
I had v5.0.11 and uninstalled it before installing this and it worked fine.

C Wittirs, Sorry for the confusion. The Giveaway of the Day license is only valid for the specific version and giveaway period. Installing a newer version or reinstalling the program will not extend or restart the free use period.
If you activated the giveaway version during the promotion, it should continue working according to the giveaway terms. Please make sure you are using the same giveaway version and code.

C Wittirs, I once was trying to do the same thing with another MobiKin product. After installing the new version, when I tried to register it with a new registration code, my old code was in the field. Initially, I couldn't figure out how to get rid of my old code and type in the new one. Then, after looking around the window, I noticed a "pen" icon on the right side of the field. I clicked that and I could edit the field. I don't know if this will solve your problem but I wanted to mention it.
