EDY, I think the answer you are looking for is this is supposed to erase the data areas (overwrite them) while a factory reset just overwrites the partition data and resets the android OS to original, the data may still be there if the android OS does not TRIM clear the entire partition allocation on partition deletion.... older Androids were not SSD TRIM command aware, current version *should* be but without access to the source of the OS and utils we cannot know. After a factory reset it *may* be possible to recover old user related data using a deep sector by sector scan of the data areas of the devices partitions in the same way as data recovery does on windows but with an android app.
