I have used this before and it's a nice little bit of kit.

However, when I installed it and went through the (compulsory) tuorial, the box and button which are supposed to accept the registration key were blurred out and can''t be interacted with...

Does anyone have a solution for this?!

If anyone is having the same issue, I closed the program and left it for a couple of hours. When I came back I tried again and it had resolved itself

When the program finally loads you are faced with a screen that has the text dimmed out. Yes it is nearly unreadable, but then you are FORCED to follow an overlapping step by step screen "tutorial" showing you what to do. Those elements are bright and clear.

But the problem is, you cannot dismiss this "help" and what's worse, you must actually load a video in order to get through it and finally get rid of it!!

If you follow it through you eventually arrive at a proper screen display which is what you should have been given in the first place! A tutorial is a nice thing to offer --as an option--but it should not be forced on you, This is going to piss off a lot of users.

Barry, there's a Red X in the corner that quits the tutorial. Could have been a bit better placed as it could be confused with exiting the program.

Barry, I found nothing you wrote here to be true. The text could be more readible but it is far from unreadable and you are not forced to follow a "tutorial". There is a little "X" in the corner you can click to close it. Took me maybe a half second to find.

Installation and registration were a breeze, the reg key is provided in the readme so your email address is not being harvested.

I have yet to try the program so I can not comment on how well it works.

TechBaffle, Thanks, I obviously missed that, however, that only reinforces my complaint about having it forced on you in the first place, plus the fact that it is a poor layout.

Jake, "Nothing" I wrote is true!? Are you joking?

The program DOES start with all text extremely dimmed out, making it unusable, even if you are able to read it.

That's a stupid way to introduce a new user to any application. It's confusing and unnecessary and violates good UI practice. The user should always be given the OPTION of a tutorial. You do not force it as a start point.

I am not a novice computer user, I have a background in IT yet I was disoriented and annoyed by it, and judging by the comments here I was not alone.

My comments stand.

Barry, your comment doesn't stand. It was balderdash.

I suspect that based on it, your professed background in IT might be as well but who is to say.

I know I have that background and as I said, it took me less than a half second to find the "X" you missed, and I had no difficulty reading the end-user interface of the program.

What I would do in a situation like yours is man up and admit I erred in making my comment and apologize to the software developer for my error rather than doubling down. But that's just me.

I got this in a previous giveaway and then bought a full version for lifetime licence. It is a good editor for joining clips together and adding transitions music effects and other stuff that are all built in. Not the best but for social media videos it is very useful, has all the things you need like subscribe elements and animated emojis and overlays like explosions, smoke, fog etc.

Starts up as full screen, blocking everything else including task bar. Controls do not respond. Cannot be resized and is uncontrollable. Had to use task manager to kill the process.

I uninstalled it because the background is so dark you can't read anything.
