What happens if we don't renew licence at the end of 6 months

The way I read the pricing plans on minitool movimaker site the license duration is only for the availability of free updates not a restriction on usage of the latest version obtained during the licensed period. I quote from their FAQs at the bottom of the pricing page:

"Difference between one year free upgrade and free lifetime upgrade
Free lifetime upgrade is a service for our customers to upgrade purchased program to the latest version at any time without any cost.

One year free upgrade is a service for our customers to upgrade purchased program to the latest version within one year since purchase without cost. After one year of purchase, customer can still use the version purchased however additional cost may occur if customer decide to upgrade program to the newer version. Please be aware that if the version customer purchased has been discontinued, we may not provide the download link for the discontinued version. It is customer's obligation to store their program installation file. We do have discount for our existing customers when upgrade. Please contact support@minitool.com for the offer."

Emphasis added for clarity of the pertinent sentence, does that FAQ also apply to the 6x1month license as the wording is the same in the bullet points for the monthly entry just the duration has changed? To be clear is it 6 months of free updates to latest version and non-expiring usage?

In what way is this better than VSDC Free video editor or the Pro annual license of the same?

TK, it isnt better, this is strictly for beginners in video editing, its similar to MS Moviemaker, its a linear video editor.

VSDC is a non linear video editor similar to Davinci, premier etc
