Installed and ran on vista laptop. Not only for ios , recovered files from ntfs drive on win vista laptop.

I thought that I might mention that Mini Tool Mobile Recovery for iOS recovers lost files from three locations:

"Recover from iOS Device", "Recover from iTunes Backup File" and "Recover from iCloud Backup File"

Program installed easily on a Windows 7 Pro machine and activated with equal aplomb.

The program stepped me through connecting my iPhone, scanned approximately 15 GB in well under five minutes and listed a number of deleted files by file type. I had the program recover lost contacts which it did in moments and displayed the results in both CSV and HTML formats on my Windows machine.

When I have a bit more time later today I will search for the best way to transfer the recovered information to the iPhone.

Thanks GOTD for this, BUT a few weeks ago, I had the dreaded "ipod is disabled for 22000000 minutes..." warning.
I managed to RESET it, but all photos and videos are gone.
I used this minitool program to try and recover from Device, i-Tunes, and i--Cloud, but could not recover any photos or videos.
Can Minitool or anyone suggest what could be done?

drvajra, Apple got burned a few years back because someone found data after a reset. Apple then moved to a system that overwrites the entire memory with '1's before reinstalling IOS.

I thought the FBI would have been thanking GAOTD for today's offering, given the problems they are having with just one iPhone. Their comments could put this giveaway "over the top"!
