Hi Everyone,
Well, Installed Media Recovery Wizard 4.5 om my AMD 6core Black edition 3.4 GHz CPU on a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0 Mo-Bo with Windows 7 64Bit and 16GB Of RAM, With NO Problems at all! Registration was fast and easy! The software does everything it says it will and seems to a very Good job of it! Easy to read and understand menus and the application is resizable from minimized to small window, To full screen! With NO Problems!
The main thing I like about the program is that on start-up it scans ALL your devices! NOT! Just HDDs, Or, RAM Disks etc. But Also CD-DVD-ROM Drives! That was important to me! As I have been looking for some time for a recover program that will at least TRY! And work with CD-ROM Disks! I have an old digital camera in my collection that uses the half-size CD-ROM's to store photos! Also one of my Movie Cameras uses have-size DVD-ROM Disks! I have run into the problem on a rare occasion that in Closing the CD-ROM disk on my photo camera that battery goes dead! Thus rendering the CD UN-readable! Media Recovery Wizard 4.5 IS at least trying to read and recover the photos! This may take a while and even if I do NOT have any luck recovering the Photos? This is the first Recovery program I have used that is a least scanning and trying to find the photos! For that I give it an A+! (o;
I will update this revue later after I have full results on this recovery of a Photo CD-ROM Disk later when it gets done! As it is still working and I wanted to get a revue up here about the Application before the Giveaway runs out! (o;
I give Media Recovery Wizard 4.5 and WizardRecovery INC. 2 Thumbs UP! If you looking for a good, Easy to use and also nice help and "How To Do It" help files this is a great program to try! At least in my humble opinion! (o; I would get it today! While its FREE! Thank you for making Media Recovery Wizard 4.5 available on GOTD for everyone to use for FREE today! As Always special Thanks to everyone at GOTD for all you do! To bring us Geeks new programs and utilities for us to Test, Try, Revue, and Use for as long as we like for FREE!
To Everyone, Happy New Year!!!! Be Safe, Take Care! Always Have FUN!!! Rick D.

FYI: Update to my original revue above: After letting it run for a very long time! It was NOT able to recover ANY Photos from the above mentioned Half-Sized CD-ROM Disks! The first CD I tried it just said there was NO Data on the disk? I know there is! I can see part of it with certain scan apps! Like a CD-Writer shoes 486 Photos on the disk! and about 765MB left to write to! On failed CD-ROM Disk #2, It found nothing and finally the program Locked up! I had to use "End Task!" To kill the program and get out of it! Just kept saying it was NOT Responding? When I launched the program again, Everything was OK! And it was still registered! (o;
I will keep the program and keep working with it and try some of the other scan for photo options available under the little "Options >>>" Button thingie in the lower right corner of the main screen! Maybe I will have better luck? Or, Possibly they may update the program down the road and it may work? At least it DOES! See the CD-DVD-ROM Drives in my PC! and it Does scan them! And try to recover the photos! That's the best I have gotten from any recovery program so far! So I have hope! (o;
Its a Keeper! (o; Happy New Year Everyone! Take Care, Always Have FUN!!! Rick D.

Usable software. Installed it on my IT response PC (E6400 XFR w/8gb ram, dual core, win7 ultimate 64). Would be nice though to add the ability to revive all but dead USB drives, SD cards, etc.. If anything, provide internal links to get them.

My question to support: is this program able to repair truncated jpeg pictures?

Reply   |   Comment by Kiki S  –  9 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-13)

The program will scan and recover all media files and you can see Live Preview them. If the file was broken the program try to fix it automatically.
Only what do you can see in Live Preview so what do you can recover.

I haven't seen Karl or Giovanni's reports in a week or so. I too like to read their insight before installing even free programs:(

@ Bill. Okay, as I get it, this program is specialized recovering media data, and that's the reason, WizardRecovery Inc. offers a row of tools for recovery. However, I am covered in, when it comes to recovering data, so I have no need for today's giveaway. Thanks anyway for generous offer. Btw. - both WOT and Security Plus shows the site as "Suspecious". I'm just mentioning it, 'cause none of the site advisors are exact science. Happy X-Mas to all of you from Denmark.

I like the Media Recovery Wizard offered here and gave it a thumbs up! But, if it does all that it states, then why offer the other types of software below it?
