Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Magic Recovery Key Pro 2.0.0.87 was available as a giveaway on January 16, 2025!
Losing product keys can lead to the loss of access to essential software, and Magic Recovery Key is specifically designed to solve this issue by recovering lost or forgotten product keys. As its name implies, Magic Recovery Key is a Windows-based tool that helps you retrieve product keys for Windows (including Windows 11/10/8/7), Windows Server (Windows Server 2025/2022/2019/2016/2012/2008/2003), and SQL Server. It securely locates and recovers these keys, allowing users to back them up with ease, without requiring any technical expertise.
Additionally, Magic Recovery Key offers advanced features like retrieving product licenses even when your system or hard drive crashes. The software supports over 10,000 popular programs, helping users recover serial numbers for software like Windows, Adobe, Office, and PDF programs. It can also retrieve saved passwords from browsers like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. On top of that, if you’re looking to recover Wi-Fi passwords, Magic Recovery Key handles that efficiently too, making it an all-in-one tool for product key recovery.

WOW !! I have tried a number of these key word finder software thanks to Giveaway of the day and they work fine in finding windows installed software and windows OS keys but they don't seem to get you WiFi passwords.
This software from Magic Recovery keys is really magic what I have been looking for for some time having forgotten my WiFi password and having bought a new mobile phone to use the WiFi on it .
Many people forget their NBN WiFi password and their working no problem on your TV, Mobiles and computers but it's no help if you've forgotten the password and you want to add it to a new item Top Marks Great Product I'm a happy chappy

I installed the product and ran it. It seems to be very slow in it's operations and I can't find where to input the registration code.

IF you check for updates it reports an update is available to 3..... accepting it takes you to a download page in your default browser... you can update and keep using the giveaway license but I note version 3 claims to find in the 200's of keys and version 2 claims to find in the 300's on this system... and many of the claimed found keys are just registry entries with simple strings in like TRUE or FALSE or gaotd as if they are valid keys! It does find some browser stored logins but you can get them in the actual programs anyway... It does find some key looking data that might be keys but I was never asked to enter them and likely I never could re-enter them on re-install as they are likely generated via server interactions and are never intended to be manually entered and could never work if exported as reg files as they are likely linked to a unique hardware/software signature that will change if you try to transfer to another hard drive or system. I see no indication of an expiry date or countdown of days left with in the program so that is not very useful with an advertised expiring license... when will it really expire? It cannot possibly execute under Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 as it's compiled for Windows Server 2008 R2 or better i.e. Windows 7 or better. It may be a confusion over the fact that it RUNS under windows 7 or above but might support searching external attached hard drives from Windows Server 2003 and above... who knows but it certainly WILL NOT RUN under Server 2008 or Server 2003 and their derivatives like SBS 2003 etc

Bill,
The registration process is always described in the readme file.

The program claimed to find more than 1000 keys. One-fourth were many duplicates of WiFi passwords from sites I visited years ago, most of the rest were random text strings associated with programs I use -- strings like "US" "VIOLET" "None" "MPEG4," etc. Buried in there were a few actual license keys.
This might be useful in some kind of emergency situation, but it's hardly what it advertises itself as being.

OK, so how do you use the result to put missing keys into various places? Also, I notice it didn't actually get many passwords from my browser (Firefox) so probably not a good idea to rely on it for those.

Therese Shellabarger, the idea is that you keep track of all your activation keys yourself. Because you will need them if you ever reinstall your software. The giveaway will help you to find keys that you did not write down. Or never had to enter manually, like your Windows key.

Fantastic tool! The best key finder program I have ever tested.
I like that you can also search specified external hard drives.

Svend, many re-installations using the recovered keys requires PRODUCT KEY, so re-using the keys becomes problematic, also all of the GAOTD software can not be re-installed after the fact, so makes this software half baked potato.
It would be great if the OS registry is copied and to be able to be restored with all of the keys in it. Much easier and faster and that would enable the GAOTD keys and installations to continue working without problem.

Svend, did you ever use Keyfinder Thing, LicenseCrawler, Belarc Advisor, Product Key Decryptor and Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder? These all all freeware.
