Thank you for the Mac giveaway! I also have a windows machine so I get the notifications and have wondered why I continue not that I like my Mac more. Now I know. Thank you!

MacX DVD Ripper Pro is a great program and easy to use although Hand Break works better for me in some situations (captions for example). This companies other software, MacX Video Convertor Pro, outshines most of the competition and I highly recommend that.

To the person who said many Mac users wouldn't come here: It's true that they have mainly Windows software here and simply because of that many Mac users will not be aware of this site. But I can run both Windows and Mac software on my Mac and often stop by to download both PC and Mac software (when available). Still, I have stopped coming by here as much because most of the software I need I already have running under OSX and a lot of the PC offerings here are just crap. This particular set of Mac software works great though!

MacX DVD Ripper Pro installed with the key given in the readme file without a hitch. It also sent me to MacXDVD's website with a bonus freebie to download and install, MacXVideo Converter Pro. There's a Windows version for it as well. The key is given on the website.

I'm always happy when there is a Mac offering - and I'm here every day checking out the windows' offerings (but I'm running 4 versions of windows, snow leopard AND ubuntu between 2 self-built PCs and 2 laptops so I'm probably not the "average" GAOTD visitor). 'Just wanted to say its especially cool when GAOTD gives its customers software for BOTH apple and windows on the same day - keep up the good work!

Same thing happened to me Make sure you check the Digitary folder in your programs folder this is where I found BOTH of my programs
WINX DVD Ripper and MacXHD Converter, both programs are made my Digitary Software. I had to uninstall my first copy of Win X DVD Ripper I got from GOTD and reinstall it from todays GOTD

Though I mainly use a PC, recent news was that Apple's market share is now near 11% (not counting iPads). I would think regular Mac offerings would be a growing traffic benefit for GAoTD.

I ad problems with reg key at first. REG KEY WORKED FINE. CLOSE THE WINDOW AND REOPEN PROGRAM THEN REENTER KEY. I'LL GIVE THIS SOFTWARE A SPIN! THANKS FOR GIVING US MAC USERS SOMETHING!

Having used their excellent product Macx HD video converter pro for Windows with the You tube download ability (There is a Mac version also), I was pleased to see this Company offering the MacX DVD Ripper Pro here.

As they currently do have also have a Windows version of this same program, being a window's user, I can only hope that we have the opportunity in the future to get that here also! If anyone from that Company reads this I for one would definitely appreciate the Macx dvd ripper pro Windows version here, as I am sure would others...

Perhaps you should have a mac.giveawayoftheday.com site just for the Apple users. Of course, it'd probably be like the game.giveawayoftheday.com site in that many times there wouldn't be any free software...but maybe you could manage to get one a week or something.

I don't own a Mac, but it seems like it would be a good idea to have a separate subdomain for Mac stuff. I read recently that about 7% of all computer users own a Mac, so you'd probably find a following.

By the way, kudos for also running a PC giveaway at the same time, even if it is a repeat. It was a nice touch that it's basically the equivalent software to what you're giving away for the Mac.

I'm guessing all the thumbs down are coming from Windows fanboys.

When GAOTD last gave away the WinX DVD Ripper program, I downloaded & installed it. It told me that it was fully registered. I opened the program a cpl days ago & was told the code was invalid & if I wanted to BUY the program then it would work as it should. I loaded it on top of the old WinX Platinum that I had & now I have NOTHING. Thanks so much for all your Free Stuff. I sometimes wonder WHY I'm cheap enuf to come here for an upgrade that takes out BOTH versions. Dang it.

The registration key in the accompanying "readme.txt" file worked fine.
