Is there any way that I could still get this software for free? I am trying to copy some family videos into iTunes an I can't find anything that works as well as this software. I know I missed it but if there is any way that I can still get it for free that would be amazing!! Please email me if that is possible.
Thanks,
Eric

As oddball would say in the movie "Kelly's Hero's" "Whats with all the negative waves"
Some of the negative comments are kind of petty. The software is free and works well. You can find 20-30 PC programs that do this. For Mac users there may be 5 that do this well, and did I mention that its FREE oh I did - Sorry. It not only converts to different formats but it also does DVD backups. Thats what I wanted. Thanks to Giveaway of the Day for a Mac OSX release. I'm sure there would be more downloads once the word gets out that there are OSX releases. I just happened to find this gem because I have PC's Too. :)

GOTD - Thank you and Thank you also to MacXDvd.com for making this software and offering it to us.. Allowing us full licensed copies is certainly a good way to get our attention - especially when it comes to other products that help us make our supposedly "seamless" Macs a bit more friendly and compatible with other devices..

Great, many thanks GotD for another Mac product. If you've downloaded this version do provide some feedback (apart from ALguy above who appears lost) just to show that it's worth having Mac software on here. As perviously mentioned installed without a problem (iSO5/ Lion) and test video looked great. However MUST remember not to update it.

Installed with no problems on WinXP SP3. I ran the activate first and then setup. It opened right up after installation. I closed out the program and then restarted with no problem. Supplied examples work great. I haven't had a chance to play around with it yet.

Doesn't work with OSX 10.4 Tiger despite what the home page says. Launches then crashes immediately. Customer support says not compatible. OK, so change your home page. Poor.

Our friends at WonderShare are having another software giveaway, to celebrate Halloween. DVD Creator is a DVD burner that lets you create professional-looking DVDs from your own video clips but it also does a lot more. The program normally costs $25 for the Windows version and $49 for Mac, but you can get it for free until 2nd November.

The "remove license" feature I found a bit poorly thought out as I can see its purpose in that the GOTD version does not allow updates whereas a true licensed version would and thus rather than re-downloading another copy of Win-X DVD Copy one merely would simply need a Full License code.
The problem with your method is that the button has no failsafe and thus if it is accidentally pressed the copy reverts to unlicensed. Since the GOTD version contains a software wrapper after the day expires the zip file has about as much value to people as a brick as it only serves to take up space so the majority of people are going to just toss the entire zip file code and all in the trash bucket not realizing this 'remove license' link exists.
I would in future editions at least give a pop up warning that alerts the user that the copy will revert to unregistered, and then add some sorta hook to the message such as 'If you enjoyed our software and are looking to update consider purchasing a full license with free updates at ...your website here'
