Useless program. Keeps crashing.

The fact I'd have to pay $$ for a third-party "data recovery" program tells me it's best to stick to other manufacturer's products that don't force their users to resort to such useless thing in the first place. I can copy ALL my photos, videos, and audio content from my Samsung device using nothing more than Windows Explorer, which is included at no additional cost.

Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 seems particularly unintelligent and incapable of overcoming any possible compromises with our iPhones, in that

-- it failed to see my iPhone that was plugged in and "trusted" AFTER Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 was started, so I had to exit and restart Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 AFTER plugging in and "trusting" my iPhone,

-- that I have to have the i{hone working enough to "trust" is a clue that Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 can't see around misbehaving iPhones, that is, it it ain't already working, then Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 ain't gonna help,

-- it balks at a password, which I never have one, so I cannot proceed to look for erased files.

Leawo iOS Data Recovery 3.4.2 is completely and totally worthless for me and my unlocked passwordless iPhones in that it will not even let me look at my iPhones, much less recover deleted files.

Hey, Leawo, how about ignoring Apple limits, and working around Apple "permission" protocol traps, and just dive in and behave like a real independent program instead of a timid "I'm afraid to tread on Apple's permissions" wimp.

If you cannot do real programming of your own outside of hitchhiking on Apple's coattails, then why are you in business as a supposedly independent company anyway?

Very useful. Thank you!.

Unfortunately the IOS haters always vote down programs for Apple products, because they can not afford these luxury items.

Very immature, but that goes with the education level these people show. :(

Pete,

and ...if you're so special and well off...then you would have an over price Apple computer..and not need this software for a windows machine.

Pete, Only an idiot will pay $1500 for a phone, and the world is full of idiots. This would explain why Apple is valued at one trillion dollars.

There is a separate section on GAOTD for iPhone giveaways. Can someone explain why this one is here and not there.

This is useless to me!
First of all it tells me I have iTunes running and to close it to avoid overwriting - fair enough!
So I closed it and it then tells me I don't have iTunes installed and to install it.
This is because I am running the latest version of Windows 10 and am using the Windows app version of iTunes available from Microsoft store. The iTunes it wants me to install is the one available from Apple - NO THANKS. This would be a retrograde step because it also install a load of baggage (ancillary programs) which I neither want or need.

[ Butros ],

What part of the README.TXT file are you having difficulty with?

It tells you where to go to get the license.

Do you need to be told where to go?

Who needs any iPhone programme?

Only a small percentage of the population.

You'd do better offering a similar programme for Android.

Then you might get a bit more feedback -- it's already five hours in, and nobody else has made any comment!

It might be a good programme, but if few people download it, how much are you going to learn??

[ Tranmontane ],

Yeah, and since Amazon is probably bigger than Apple anyway, why waste time on little tiny Apple, when Leawo could design a program for the Amazon aPhone anyway.

Facebook fPhone?

Microsoft mPhone?

General Motors gPhone?

Oh ...

iOS has more than 50% market share in my country. Worldwide isn't as high but it's definitely significant enough to warrant software like this.
I am a little surprised that Leawo doesn't have similar software for Android too but there's plenty of companies that do (eg EaseUS, MiniTool and wondershare).
Only two comments and a reply are showing at the time I post this but that doesn't necessarily mean that more haven't been posted. It isn't uncommon here at GotD for a bunch of posts that are several hours old to suddenly appear.

"i-devices" is Tenorshare's reference, not Leawo's.
