Didn't have time to actually USE a prior install of this. Figured I'd try to get to it this time.
But the new version said EXPIRED. Looked promising. But thanks anyway.

Tried to set up email client took me to their website with a 404 error

This seems like it may be useful but not without, at the very least, linking emails to tasks.

For several years I used the Franklin Planner v7.3 for PC. It had most if not all of the pages found in the physical planner (which I didn’t need and never bought).

However, mostly I used only two pages – the daily schedule and the address/phone section (which could expand to any number of pages to accommodate all listings, be sorted alphabetically or sorted by user-defined groups (like friends, relatives, cities or states, organizations, specific interests, etc.).

On the daily schedule, there were little calendars of the current month, previous month and next months across the top of the page.

The schedule took up about 2/3 of the left 2/3 of the page. You could set it to include any range of hours you wanted – and different hours for different days of the week. You could set it to automatically add recurring meetings at specific dates and times (even if the meetings only took place on the third Thursday of the month or every other Thursday, for example) and to automatically add recurring tasks in similar fashion.

The right 1/3 of the page was a to-do list. You could check off the things that you did. Anything that was left you could easily move (in bulk, if you chose) to any other date(s) in the future.

You could designate each one by priority (A = must be done today, B = nice to get done today, C = doesn’t have to be done today) or use any other letters of the alphabet however you wanted. You could add numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.) and sort the entire list alphanumerically.

The bottom 1/3 of the page had a place to record expenses at the left and space for notes at the right.

There were also many other pages that I didn’t use as often – weekly and monthly schedules (using the same data as the daily schedule), annual goals and priorities, daily diary or record of events, etc., etc.

You could select fonts and type sizes for any type of entry. You could boldface or italicize any item on any page. You could use any color to highlight any item. You could sync your calendar with any online calendar or post the calendar on a website and have the calendars automatically synced. You could use most of the features without an Internet connection. You could print any page to any standard page size.

As I recall, when I bought the app, the cost was about $25, which included a perennial license with updates.

At some point, Franklin discontinued the software (which ran under Windows XP) and replaced it with an online scheduler. I continued to use the PC app until I bought a Windows 7 machine.

The online version was clunky, had far fewer features and required an Internet connection. Since you were automatically logged out after a few minutes of inactivity, you might have to log in 15-20 times a day. I quit using that after a few days. Printing a page was a hassle.

I’ve been searching for years for a comparable app, but I have found nothing comparable. (It just occurred to me that I probably still have the installer file on the external backup drive for the old XP machine, and I might be able to run it in compatibility mode under Windows 7, though it’s not a 64-bit application.)

This is one year? what will happen after one year?
It requires account on providers site. Are my data , personal info and appointments are stored on the leatertask site or other places than my computer?

Spelling mistake in feature description...
This one cannot be the fault of a typo or a translation program, which is often the case. No... Someone through that you could use the word "brake" instead of "break", and no one else caught it. Well, here's a couple tasks to put in you little scheduler guys:

1) don't let tech guys anywhere near your ad copy. (Joke!)
2) ask a person who actually knows the language to read your ad copy before you submit it. Do not trust spellchecker software completely. If you can afford it, get a real marketing person.
3) respect your potential customers enough to follow #2...
4) if there is a spellchecker in your scheduler, fix it now!

Sorry, but the reason you are here at GOTD is not because you are a huge corporation with unlimited marketing budgets... so you need to take care of the small stuff yourself.
An honest evaluation of your efforts to sell this product. So far, not a great impression.

I am getting the runtime error as well but only when I follow the upgrade offered in the details above

"The proposed GOTD version is 12.5.9, but you can update it to the current 14.0.5 and keep the license! "-

this throws the error after downloading the update and trying to install it - is this upgrade offer not correct ?

I used this at a place I worked at once. Good --- actually great ---- product for work --- especially dividing up into sub-tasks with notes and discussion, etc.

But, for an individual it is too high a price --- should be $20 max IMO.

I keep getting a runtime error when I install the GOTD version. If I download the software from the Leader task website it will run without any issues..

What on earth is happening here
