Downloaded & installed on a Dell laptop running Win 10 Pro (64 bit) without problem after granting permission in Malwarebytes. Found the registration key, but not where to enter it until I tried recovering files from a much used 64GB Corsair thumb drive (USB 3.0). After I entered the key, the program proceeded to recover 1,176 files using 2.4 GB of space. This was completed in less than 3 minutes.

So far so good. I've never needed to recover files until now when I lost some pictures that were there one minute and gone the next. I usually don't even bother with programs with less than lifetime licenses, but since I had a need I thought I'd give it a try.

On the second time I tried to install this program I noticed a setup button that allowed me to install the program on a drive of my choice. I selected the F drive then watched it install.
I checked where the program was to install and can't find any trace of the iMyFone AnyRecover on the F drive in F:\programs(x86)

I'm told not to install it on a partition that I'm likely to want to recover but this program does not give me a choice of where to install it. It looks like it may have been installed on the C drive but after installing the program I can't find it anywhere on my computer.

Where is the program installed?

From the landing page of the iMyFone site:
"Mobile Solutions To Run Your iOS Device Better"
Every other piece of software that they have offered at GOTD is for iPhone, iPad and iPod. It seems they're branching out.

I did read the description -- it comes from a company called iMyFone.

Maybe because I HAVE PHone, not a Fone. it doesn't work for me?

Yes, there are those of us who search for appropriate analogies to seek to understand new situations,

... versus those of us who self-inflict inappropriate analogies to try to lecture others ( how's that working out for ya ? ).

I could respond with "MicroSoft is software for micro computers", but reminders to re-read historical documents at, say, Wikipedia, are over some people's heads.

I could respond that I was JOKING about having a PHone that Fone software can't see, but that is over some people's heads, apparently.

Windows-based PC recovery software for Android and iOS devices abound regardless of your presumption that recovery can only be low level sector access -- seriously, there are no other avenues for recovery in your life?

OK.

FREE iPhone data recovery is available from the next day's GOTD offering vendor at:

https ://www. anymp4. com/products-free.html

Usually a vendor with an all purpose name, like "Microsoft", has no problem marketing a variety of software, whereas a vendor with a single-purpose name like "iMyFone", seems out of their own depth offering software that does not match their name.

Microsoft AnyRecover probably recovers ... anything, maybe ( not that they have an AnyRecover product ).

iMyFone AnyRecover that does NOT recover any phone data seems incongruous ... so much for the meaning of either name -- Any or Fone.

At least there are alternatives that do offer to recover data from phones ... from AnyMP4, and free, no less!

C'mon, make this interesting, stop arguing against yourself, claiming that

-- non free features that have nothing to do with phone recovery somehow invalidate phone recovery,

-- or that 40-year-bankrupt companies invalidate Microsoft making software for whatever microcomputers survived ( Apple, HP, Dell ),

-- or that iMyFone AnyRecover not recovering any phone makes sense.

You let me down, and I expect more from you.

Maybe next time.

There will be a next time.

I know you.

Contrary to the other super duper gaotd of today, the Icecream e-book reader, this one is more than disappointing. I downloaded and installed without any problems and also the activation process was fine.

But before you are going to download this app, PLEASE NOTICE:

License Plan : 1 Month Subscription
clicking on "Change Plan" will lead you to the selling page
Expiration Date: 2019.05.20
A 6 month license for a software you hopefully never have to use is
ridicolous! Probably one day in the future the catastrophe happens, now
you are lucky having this recovery app, but... THE LICENSE EXPIRED A
LONG TIME AGO!

After this cold shower, I not even tested the quality of the program, but immediately made "Shadow Defender" do the rest.

Of course it is the good right of every vendor, to decide what type of license is offered, but please respect also, that it's polite not to waste the time of the user by making him install and activate first! If it's a time limited license, communicate it in the description! Many thanks!

The Setup of GOTD-zip did not start well; a warning.
So I tried the trial of the developer and that one installed fine.

Umesh, don't what you're trying to do, but on my Win 10 Pro Notebook the download worked without any problem.

Umesh, sorry the mistake. Should be: Don't KNOW, what you're trying to do... Notice: Not only the download worked without any problems, but also the installation and activation.
