Amazing, too good to be true !!!!....
and that is what it was, as i tried 4 times to download it, all failed,, but amazing how the trial works though !!

as there is win 10 users had the problem,
so, i disabled those tools 1st b4 action.
then, dl & install had no issue.

i like the way of the s/w handling,
as the key is given in the Readme.txt.
save people's time & effort.

win 10 x64.

Is this the same developer as Bigasoft Video Converter 5 and if so what advantage does it have over it? Their GUIs are almost identical.

installed on win7 x32 without any crash or problem
i often re-encode (compress) my 720p videos into x264 on MKV container to save some HDD space, tweak here and there on x264 cli/GUI i able to make about 25 min videos from around 300+MB into 70MB-140MB without any noticeable loss of quality

and so i test this converter, at first glance the interface is clean and so user friendly adding videos can be done via drag and drop to the GUI, i dive down the "setting > advanced setting > advanced" tab and tweak the setting i have used to convert the same videos with some freeware x264 GUI, the conversion slightly faster and the converted file size is slightly bigger than the freeware.

the effect offered here is pretty funny for me, i play with it for a while and still don`t understand of why "soft" effect making sunset light into green, i think is better to be able add brightness/contrast or do color correction rather than this fixed effect

Overall for some advanced user on re-encoding videos the merit of this giveaway is only is GUI is more easy to use than the freeware available out there in fact its pretty nice looking, but for people who just need to make their videos playable on their device give this giveaway a shot because this will make your life easier

I downloaded this and installed on Windows 10. The program kept crashing my computer so I had to uninstall it. I was attempting to convert a movie and it would get about 5 minutes into the conversion, then shut down the system. I restarted the computer and tried again with the same results. Since uninstalling the program, I have had no further issues with my system.

DJ, if you are using SecureAPlus make sure you disable it before trying to do the install - I reinstalled my system from backup several times until I figured this one out! Hope this helps

Just what I needed, and it works so easily ! It is always great to get a program that does not require long reads. Great to trim the 'waste' from videos, but I have not converted any. I'm running Windows 10. Thanks !

I wanted to convert iso files but, after "add file" they were not recognized. Can iso files be converted?

rtar, Quess not, unless you "mount" the ISO as a drive, e.g. winiso:

I have Windows 10 PRO x64, 64gb ram, I7 8700k a GTX1080ti and cannot convert with Nvidia enabled, can only convert through cpu use!

Dave Elliott, Your right, see my comments at #6, but the NVIDIA acceleration option in this program is not helpful anyway, similar programs from Wonderfox or WinX will work, at least I've tested those with an 1050TI.

Conveted an MP4 to MKV with hardcoded subs. took 3,25 hour to complete a tad slower than the Bigasoft total video conveter 5 "clone" that was on GotD some time ago. it does use an NVIDIA to the max: 100% on my 750 Ti wich I reused since the Bigasoft version stopped working with a newer 1050Ti when the NVIDIA acceleration was used.
Talking about that, the 3,25 turned to 1,45 without the NVIDIA acceleration with an AMD FX-8350 (80% use setting in program)

At first glance, this software seemed interesting, with a lot of possibilities, but ...

I tried to convert 3 mp4 to avi, youtube H264HD, and mkv files:

- first conversion the progress is always at 0% after 15 minutes then blue screen.
- second conversion no progression and blue screen
- third conversion to mkv progession up to 6% then the screen freezes and the mouse no longer responds, blue screen and reboot DPC Watchdog Violation Blue Screen Error.
Installed on windows 10 -8GB memory-Intel i7 core
This software is too buggy for me.

Go to Giveaway of the day daily. Find a lot of good programs. A little surprised this program doesn't give more than 5 min. trial. Most programs are for a year or so with the option to buy if one likes the program.

window 10-64 bit: Very easy to install and run. Nice interface and editing features. One thing missing is conversion of *.aa Audio files.
