iBoysoft Support Team, looking at the comparison matrix you have on the webpage:

https://iboysoft.com/ntfs-for-mac/

it states that "iBoysoft DiskGeeker" provides "Access BitLocker encrypted NTFS drives on Mac" But when I go to the DiskGeeker page: https://iboysoft.com/disk-utility/purchase.html The Basic Edition does NOT provide access to BitLocker encrypted NTFS drives on a Mac, only the more expensive "Professional edition" provides that. The Matrix should specify "iBoysoft DiskGeeker Professional" and not just leave it unsaid. as the Basic edition of DiskGeeker seems to offer just the limited functionality of NTFS for Mac V4.0.

Also do you have a comparison matrix for the differences between V3.6 and V4.0 of NTFS for Mac and maybe a version history?

Hello TK,

We really appreciate your valuable advice and will pay more attention to what you have mentioned to provide you with a better user experience.

As for the difference between V3.6 and V4.0, the latest version 4.0 has all the functions of V3.6. In addition, version 4.0 has a brand-new interface, greatly optimized its read/write speed, and provides a safer, more stable use environment. It is worth mentioning that version 4.0 newly added a First Aid function to help you check and repair faulty NTFS partitions. Also, it is fully compatible with macOS 12 Monterey, M1 Pro, and M1 Max.

Thanks

How about a similar system for Android users?

Dear Pulikkal basheer,

For the present, iBoysoft NTFS for Mac only works on macOS. Perhaps we will develop a program that supports Android in the future.

I already use "NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software" on my Mac for years now, never had any problem with it. Is there any reason I should switch to "iBoysoft NTFS for Mac 3.6"?

Reply   |   Comment by John Doe  –  6 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+3)

John Doe,
it might be worth to give it a try...
Will NOT work with MacOS 12.0 or ARM Macs (you need 4.0 for this).

John Doe, there's a comparison chart on the program's homepage (Link above). I, too, am a current "NTFS for Mac by Paragon Software" and i don't see any good reason to switch. A more thorough comparison wold be great, e.g. speed/performance.

---, When will it get macOS Monterey v12 support?

Reply   |   Comment by Ant  –  6 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

John Doe, I would suggest that unless you have a problem with the Paragon driver, that this promises to solve, don't mess with a working system just because some new, unknown to you, driver is being offered for free. If it isn't broken don't fuss with it!

Hello John Doe,

The two pieces of software are similar in function. To be honest, Paragon is also a good NTFS for Mac program. If you have a problem with Paragon software one day, please take iBoysoft NTFS for Mac into consideration. Compared with version 3.6, iBoysoft NTFS for Mac 4.0 has greatly optimized its read/write speed. It newly added a First Aid function to help you check and repair faulty NTFS partitions. At present, the new version 4.0 fully supports macOS 12 Monterey, M1 Max, and M1 Pro. For more details, you can take a look at its overview page:

Hello, Ant,

iBoysoft NTFS for Mac 3.6 can only support macOS High Serra, macOS Mojave, macOS Catalina, and macOS Big Sur. However, the latest version 4.0 can provide support for macOS Monterey. For more details, you can visit its overview page and have a try.
