This app from 2017 works, but personally I'll stick with the portable version of the free HWiNFO.
neowin[.]net/software/hwinfo-734/
Probably won't matter to most, but installing HARDiNFO 8 PRO in a Win10 Pro 64-bit VM, I 1st encountered a message that the app required a minimum 1024 x 768 display [the height was set at 720], though after setting the display to 1024 x 768 some things in the app's window were still cut off. I was surprised that when you enter the key into the setup window I could not just copy/paste the entire key. And while HARDiNFO 8 PRO does provide quite a bit of info, I was surprised by what I didn't see, including notably UEFI booting, TPM, & Secure Boot, though back in 2017 Win11 wasn't yet a thing, so that stuff was less important I imagine. I wouldn't use either app, HARDiNFO 8 PRO or HWiNFO for benching -- the purpose of benchmarking is to compare performance, and you want to compare your results with the broadest possible data set to be meaningful, which means using the most popular benchmarking apps, e.g., Crystal Disk Mark for SSD performance.
HARDiNFO 8 PRO takes up ~57MB in the programs folder, with a "{16E7016A-24E3-4256-8BA0-68788D551E5E}" folder added to ProgramData [that name may be be different for each copy of Windows], 4 new fonts, and a couple of small files added to Windows\ Installer. I recorded 424,429 new registry entries.

Nice, a little disappointed it doesn't show CPU temps. Maybe I'm not using it correctly

Will this allow for getting info from other computers on your network? I mainly need it for that so i don't have to remote into each one and run a client info grabber tool.

Would not run. Installed and activated with no problems. But, the program starts and then disappears after a few seconds. Uninstalled and reinstalled with same result.
Running Windows 10 fully updated.

I installed this program when it was offered in August - BUT I noticed that some of the components showed nothing - e.g. when I selected System Overview, the screen remained blank with no data. Similarly when Operating System was selected, only the blank black screen resulted. The Installed software tab though did list the installed programs and apparently offered to "Uninstall Product."

And tho not mentioned (Or did I miss it?) its possible to list & delete any software on your system with ease.
Now THAT puts it above other software offering a full synopsis of your sys, Sis.

Am unable to install. Clicked the link. Clicked the link in the email. Filled out the form. Click the link that I received after filling out THAT form (That's A LOT hoops to jump through...) Anyway, got the registration code.
Click install the program. Program installs and I get an error- "ERROR!!: Invalid Serial Number! You must Re-Install HARDiNFO 7 !" (Note- it says 7, not 8).
Anyway- there was no place for me to enter my registration code. It never asked me to enter it during install, and I can't run the program to install it from there. The instructions say to just fill out the form and get the link (which I did). Nothing about certain files have to be in certain folders, etc. Eg- I followed the instructions.
Tried it twice. No bueno.
Any advice?

Registration is very complicated, multiple steps using email, then web site, then access password, etc. The main report pages are very nice and readable, but as you access more detail the data is presented in smaller pages and tables and the font is very small. The table boxes can not be expanded and there is no way I could find how to change the font size. In a few cases basic information about my motherboard and memory were not discoverable. Other similar programs find that info easily. OK for a free program, but could not recommend a purchase.

If you missed out on this as a giveaway in February here's another chance to get it.

Was wondering if ths is also portable -- that would be great.

Tom, you could use Thin App to make it portable. There are other programs out there that make portable apps. But I have found Thin App to be the best.

There is such a thing as Crystaldiskinfo and Open HardwareMonitor, free!

Good program for viewing all your system information & a few handy benchmark tools. Program hasn't been updated in about 6 years though. Not really a problem (if it works, why fix it?), but some promise of continued development or new features would greatly entice customers to buy the pro version.

Catamus Mann, are the details even accurate with newer hardwares and softwares (e.g., W11)? :(
