Can't figure out what this program actually does.

Overall a very nice program. I checked out the reviews ( not many) and Windows already has a built in defrag so a lot of the comments were why would you need this program I downloaded ( and a tip - follow the directions exactly like it says). I installed it & went to the key page & got nothing. I looked over the menu & clicked activate & it popped with the key, BUT even when I clicked "copy to clip board" it didn't. So I had to do it in the same browser to get a key emailed to me. Getting on with the program scanned a 3tb drive in a few minutes. But here is where the program shines. It will show you all the directories & what's in them. And if you click on say Programs it will drill down to sub folders. This is great when you are moving a drive over to another one or trying to organize a few drives. Try it you will find it very useful.

Wow just what I need I only have 4TB of internal storage on my vista server laptop, what a novel idea. And I thought it was going to be a defragmenter that optimised the location of the files on the hard drives platter so big infrequently used files like video files were placed towards the slower center of the platters and the OS| always loaded at boot up be placed at the faster, longer tracks with less seeking per gigabyte outer edges of the drive... but no this is a big file finder and gives the untrained end user the decision to make on whether to permanently delete the big file, when it might be a critical system file! Just search for every file on your drive like this: put *.* in the search box on this pc and then sort the results found in order of size descending and right click shift delete the ones you are sure will never been needed again!
