Dear GOTD users,
for the registration page to work, please make sure that you use the same browser for the archive request and key request and that your browser saves cookies. Also please request the key and don't close the previous download page in your browser during the page visit.

I haven't seen but pretty sure you're not going to use this on a SSD.

Would have liked to try the software but unable to receive key ... keep getting a "Too many requests from your ip." error when using the GOTD registration page as instructed in the readme.txt file.

Eric, try a VPN. Proton has one for free, or one is built into Opera or Vivaldi browsers.

TreeSize free is also excellent.

Bruce Fraser, No "In my opinion..."? Or are you the absolute voice of truth. Maybe tghese people, who are trying to make a living with their product, might disagree.

TK, Oh ok, Plainly you have looked into this, and I bow to your competence on the subject.

If we optimize now and don't pay in a year, what problems will we have?

The only optimization is defrag, which is generally done periodically -- once the license expires you won't be able to use Hard Drive Optimizer to defrag your disk(s). By default Windows will Optimize [defrag] hard disks / SSDs monthly -- right click a drive in Windows Explorer, click Properties, then the Tools tab. Click Optimize & the window will show if it's on or off -- click Change settings to turn it on/off. [Note: you want automatic optimization on if you're using an SSD.]

3rd party apps *may* be more aggressive defragging than Windows built-in optimization. And some 3rd party apps *may* locate most frequently used files on the fastest part of a conventional hard disk when defragging

Bucko,
Could you elaborate a bit?
difference before and after?
What makes it a “very good program”?
If you would please
