It's big problem is there is no secure way to exchange passphrases so is no better than always free 7zip encryption system. Certainly no value added features or USP!

After the first time you enter the password for Encryption it would be nice that the password would be remembered for all following files unless changed.

Chuck, It is bad practice to use the same passwords for multiple sessions, just as it bad practice to use the same favorite password/phrase on every web service. If' it's not worth using a strong passphrase that is different each time, consider is really necessary to encrypt the data in the first place using a strong cipher like AES-256 bit as you'll likely be only using a predictable minimal area of entropy in the key space anyway!
Don't forget if you are using the tool to securely send different data to multiple people if you always use the same key for different files to different people once you give that key to one recipient they also have the ability to decrypt any other file you've encrypted specifically for other persons.

I tried to encrypt the file using the "Encrypt originals of files" method and check the "Creation of Self-extracting files" option, everything went well but every time I tried to decrypt the file, the program wouldn't let me decrypt it just using the password I created before, I always asked to select the destination folder of the file that I want to decrypt, it's a hassle and just a waste of time, does anyone know how to decrypt a file without selecting the destination folder?

minovotkpd,
And where is it going to put the decrypted file if you don't tell it where ?

minovotkpd, most people share and or send PDF files. There is encryption built-in in every PDF editor you have and you can authorize, read only, print only, edit denial, re-sent to others not allowed and so on. This software is supposed to be simple to use, but it is not.

I use the free 7z to encrypt with AES. 7z is available for all OS's I use.
