Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
GiMeSpace TouchSpace Synth 1.2.3 Home was available as a giveaway on June 8, 2024!
This program was created to make playing music on a computer more intuitive and affordable for anyone who wants to make music. It offers the most natural way to make music by simply using your touch screen or your hand in front of the web cam. If you don’t have these you can also use your mouse.
Creating your favorite instrument is also very easy: you need a couple of seconds of the sound that your instrument will make and import it as a WAV file. It will be converted into instrument and you can still adjust the individual frequencies of your instrument. It also has the option to record your performance into a WAV file.
Windows 7/ 8/ 10/ 11; Touchscreen, webcam or Mouse is needed

The Pro edition has everything the Home edition has but also MIDI support, extra options to adjust instruments and a much faster response time when using on 64bit AVX enabled CPUs. The Extreme edition has 4x more frequency bands for much smoother transitions and supports notes as low as MIDI note 0 all the way up to MIDI note 127.
Make good use of your laptop or old computers by connecting 2 or 3 computers together. Share mouse, keyboard and clipboard and use the screens of connected computers as extra displays for the programs you run on your main computer.
GiMeSpace Desktop extender is the standard edition of the virtual desktop manager. When you move your mouse to the edge of your screen you will notice that your desktop extends beyond the borders of your normal desktop. It provides a cheap alternative for adding more monitors to your computer.
GiMeSpace Desktop Extender 3D is the deluxe version of the Desktop Extenders. Like in the standard edition you can scroll left-right, up-down. But now you can also zoom in and out seamless. So you can navigate your desktop in 3 dimensions!
Turn you folders into RAM folders. The Pro version of RAM Folder allows multiple RAM folders, folders than have special write caching enabled and the ability to use as much RAM as you like including the VRAM of your dedicated graphics card.
Please note that if you have any issues with installing or using this program then please consult the frequently asked questions page on the GiMeSpace website first. If your question is not answered then it will be faster to email GiMeSpace directly.

shame it's not the Pro or Extreme edition I could then use a MIDI sequencer or keyboard to do something musical with this.

I tried it before, it is fun for the kids only, the biggest problem is the tones are randomly produced and there is no way you can reproduce the same melody the next time around you play it.
Waving the hands looks silly from the side when someone is watching you and it is not natural to play or record random sounds.

mike, Sounds like the program is not working properly on your computer, maybe your sound card has added effects that you need to turn off to get proper sound.

GiMeSpace, no that's how the home edition program works... it is impossible to reproduce movements precisely, it's like a theramin without the physical part of the interface so nothing to measure/gauge your movements against. Which is why I lamented over the lack of midi control in the given edition!

I got this as a giveaway here in the past so I checked my version number and it said it was 1.2 so I grabbed this thinking 1.2.3 would be an update, but the readme still says 1.2 so I cannot be sure if this is different (no obvious changes). But this is one of my favorite noise making programs so it doesn't matter!
I call it a noise making program because I can't call what I make with it music, but I'm sure people with a musical background can make music with it. I only make strange spacey sounding stuff which can be used for ambience or frightening your cat (or confusing your cat if you are a Monty Python's Flying Circus fan!). Every time my cat heard me playing with this she would cock her head to one side, then the other, then run away, come back and glare at me wide eyed, then run away again! So it's a great cat toy if nothing else.
