KMShare makes it easy to connect 2 computers together and seamlessly share the mouse, keyboard and clipboard of the 2 computers together. You simply move the mouse to the edge of the screen in the direction of the other computer and your mouse cursor will appear on the other screen. Keyboard focus also follows the mouse and the clipboard contents will also become available on the other computer.
Compared to other similar software this product provides much faster network connection making the mouse movement much more accurate and file transfer much faster.

Hi,
I had a older version installed (1.0 I believe) and when I install this one, I can not seem to find where to get the code from the Readme file? Or is it not needed when you had an older version and that was not cleaned up in the Registry or something?
Anyway, going to try this out for a month or two as I maybe buy it when I build my new PC ;-)

Additional comment: Just went and searched their FAQ but could not find an answer about the Error Msg.
However I did watch some videos on the GiMeSpace website to understand more. It was good to read that the author cares about low overload in RAM and CPU to get good performance on older (remember netbooks) hardware. I think I could also find this program useful when I come to upgrade to a new laptop and move my programs (apps these days) and files over.

How does this program interact with the Logitech MX keyboard and MX Master mouse, which can switch between up to three computers?

Thom, I'm not running any Logitech software right now so I can't verify, but IMHO it *probably* will work fine since KMShare uses a client/server setup so there *shouldn't* be a conflict with the Logitech driver software.

Think I would find this useful by using my old laptop as an extra screen - less space than a large monitor.
However, I have installed it under Win10 (giving the install the option of changing the firewall !!) but when I run it I get an error window:- KMShare - Access violation - Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption. Press ABORT to kill program.
What is all this ???

Andy Tate, Google "Access violation" [w/out quotes] & you'll see that it's caused by software trying to access memory that it is not allowed to access. I'd *guess* that it might be caused by other software that's running or possibly by having VBS turned on. If you can't get it working you might try Mouse Without Borders from Microsoft Garage &/or included in Microsoft PowerToys.
