Control your computer with hand movements in front of your webcam. You can simulate mouse movements, mouse clicks, the keyboard cursor keys, or control the GiMeSpace virtual desktop managers. The program might be useful for the people with disabilities and in cases where a computer needs to be controlled from a certain distance, e.g. from the other side of a display window.
There are 5 gestures:
- move in the horizontal direction while your hand is vertical.
- move in the vertical direction while your hand is horizontal.
- move in the horizontal direction with 2 hands making a 'zooming' gesture.
- left mouse click by moving your left hand in the left upper corner.
- right mouse click by doing the left click plus moving the right hand in the right upper corner.
There is also an easy mode where the mouse pointer is simply moving according to the position of your hand and a left click can be generated when holding still for 2 seconds.

After reading as much info as possible on the FAQ, the program DOES see movement within the control window when set at the max sensitivity but on the desktop, the cursor only moves a few inches vertically. There is no action for horizontal, zoom, or select. I have experimented with this as far as I can.

Do you know how un-natural that looks like if somebody is watching you from the side, they would think you are mad or talking to someone with gestures.
Furthermore, it would take a minute or more to move the mouse in the right place, position it and then to click it with more gestures.
It would take hours to surf a single web page, some click fields are so small that you will always undershoot or overshoot it (back and forth) few time to get it right. After a while you will have enough of it and go back to a regular mouse where the speed is 1000s time faster and 1000s times more accurate.
