Just wanted to say thanks for this offer. The Game Creators are (imo) legends in game creation software using a simple Basic type language. They've been working hard at this for a long time now. I'm shocked that they dropped the final price so low.

While this is a steam powered application can it produce standalone games that are not reliant on the steam platform?

TK, Short answer, yes. You'd have to compress your finished game into a standalone version.

Like so many other GOTD offers, I can't figure out what I need to do to get it. This one is not much different.
Am I the only confused GOTD user?
Some of their offers sound interesting, but how do I install them? I must've missed some instructions a long time ago when it all started.
I'm SO confused!

ken, if I understand your question correctly to get into the draw for a free license, you click on the large green button, near the top right, which has 'Join and Win' written in white letters. This will automatically take you to a list of activities that you need to perform to be eligible. You have to do things like interact with their pages on social media. Just click on the social media icons, and you'll be taken to the right places to do that.

Might be fun to try

After watching the video at this point until I get to play with a copy of my own of the software, what I see of it seem slightly out of date for todays games but that is just from the video. Until I get a copy of the software in hand and playing with it to create a game I believe that it maybe great the way it is.
