   Okay, only two community members seemed interested in my Dirt 2 giveaway which really surprised me because until dirt 3, I've always though Dirt 2 was one of the best car rally games around. It's got superb graphics and great game play. I placed the two names into a box and got one of my children to pick out the name and Delenn won the game, so let me know your Steam account name so that we can connect so that i can gift you the game. for the loser, all's not lost; I have three other games to give away, well four actually, but one of them I'm saving for another giveaway next week (Red Faction Guerrilla, pending an offer to another giveaway friend).

   Anyway to the runner up, you can take your pick of one of the following games: The first one is only 18 months old, the other two areseveral years old, but both are still excellent games.

   I missed this too. Searching I just found it at the end of your post on your views about Dirt 3. Guess that is what I get for not reading all the way through to the end. I think I stopped when you said you didn't like it as well as Dirt 2. BTW, I can sympathize with you on the fading eyesight. However, at my age I feel very fortunate to only need reading glasses and those are only for smaller print or when there isn't much light. Still, I find myself sometimes wearing them when playing even with my 27" monitor and I always need them with my netbook.

   Hi Terry, you can find the offer at the end of my Dirt 3 post HERE. Thanks to Campy for pointing it out. It was sort of hidden from view, but I did this as a treat for those who take the time to read my threads. I looked at it this way, that is if a community member read the Dirt 3 thread it would probably have meant they liked that sort of game. I wanted to ensure the game went to someone who really liked the genre. Which is why I did it indirectly; as it was only two community members actually PMed me.

   I got the game for free when I preordered the latest version. I'd already purchased the game on disc (which I'd already given away) and on Steam when it was on a 75% sale. The orginal Dirt was on sale the other day for less than £3 which was an amazing deal. (You need to watch the 24 hour sales thread for that one. todays 24 hour deal is a cracker . ( World of Goo ) It was one of the best Indie releases of 2008/9

   Winner has got a great game,I didn't enter draw as I've had Dirt2 since it was released.Still got F1 2010 and NFS Shift to explore properly so I'll leave getting Dirt3 until later in year when price drops,have heard mixed reviews about it.

   Apart from the menus it's okay. There's loads of variety including some games as well; (sort of reminds me of the Flatout series in that respect). The one thing I don't like that they have changed from Dirt 2 is the menu system. I liked the interactive menu system of Dirt 2; it almost felt like you were at a race event; whereas Dirt 3 has reverted to older menu systems but in a arty farty sort of way, which I don't like.

   Dirt 3 also offers the ultra beginner an easy ride as well because you can basically set everything to automatic including braking around corners. You have the ability to set the game exactly to your best playing style which means you can make the game as easy or as hard as you wish. The only game that comes near to it for that sort of customisability is the two ‘Need for Speed Shift’ games.

    Not to sound like a greedy person, but after the runner up picks one of those three that you listed... are you planning on doing another something or other on the other two? If so I would be thankful and really happy to know... I have checked out all three of those at one time or another and just have not purchased them at this time. Again, not trying to be a greedy game grabber (LOL) just curious.

    BTW CongGratz to the winner and runner up! I too missed the posting or would have tried for it.
