   I am looking to clone an image my cd drive so I can see whats on my external hard drive without turning it on. I use Visual Cd right now but it has been giving me problems lately. Any ideas what programs can do this.

   It's been a while since I tested software to catalogue my external drives, but I've still got a few of the old bookmarks and a file with my test results. Some progs that I found were originally designed to index music CDs, media files or photo collections, but a few of those actually worked for external drives as well.
   Below is a tiny little list that's fairly old so please check the system requirements ;-)

   Other programs that I tested but didn't bookmark: CD Library, Directory Lister Pro, DiscLib, Gentibus CD, MCataloguer, myCatalogue, Primitive Disk Indexer, SI Cataloguer. I discarded Visual CD coz it showed incorrect sizes for large .iso files. Some others were too slow, lacked options that I wanted, or didn't work at all on my computer, but they may work well for you / for your computer.
