   Showing this msg at the top of all screens

   "CDROM drive is initializing....
   Need to access the internet."

   Does not go away. I have internet access. Program shows "licensed" / Activated. Closed and reopened program. Same problem. Opened as administrator. Same problem.

   I use Vista, Robert - I believe the problem is global (and not OS-specific.)
   Anyway, it's no big deal - I can catch it the next time around.

   I don't think the "connect to internet" message poses a problem. I think it just happens because you don't have a disc in the drive. Of course, I stuck it in a debugger and ran the program, and it gave me exceptions on the CDDB modules. It could be just the program.

   I try it with a disk in the drive it no good all so ask for License code: all the time close & open ask put in all the time this is on XP.
