There are also some packages available that enable you to buy more than ne game of the same so that you can gift them to friends; just the ones that you can play online. And if you have a wish list theres a small chance you may get the first five on your list for free. Steam are giving the first five games to 30 community members wish lists every day until the sale ends on the 29th December 2010. So make sure you have the most expensive ones you want for now, hehe! :)

Here are Thursday to Fridays Steam deals. again some excellent bargains. I recommend Kane & Lynch: Dog Days, which has been reduced significantly. It was £30 a few months ago when it was released. you can get it today for less than £4. The Indie Story Pack and Defence Grid: The Awakening are also fabulous bargains. The co-op mode in Kane & Lynch game requires four players before you can play so you could even buy four and give them to your friends seeing as they are so cheap. :)

I highly recommend Kane & Lynch 2. It's not got brilliant ratings overall and since it's release in August this year (only 3 months old), it's already be halved in price and now it's got 755 off making it only £3.75. it's hard to compare K&L and Batman as i have played both and like then both, but if I had to pick between the two i'd definitely go for K&L because the game play seems so realistic at times. The setting is the far East and it reminds me of when I was in Bangkok (getting married) in 1995. The game play is really non stop action packed and you can play online co-op as well, wheras Batman is only single player.

Both are great games. If you have the cash i'd purchase both. :)

Here are Friday/Saturdays games. Yet more fantastic bargains. I highly recommend the Clever Indie pack and ArmA II Arrowhead. One of the most realistic Military sims available to the general public today. None of your Run 'n' Gun Call of Duties here. Here's Sunday/Mondays Thanksgiving deals. At last i found one that I didn't have that I was waitng to come down in price (I rarely do that, but seeing as I already had lots of this genre (rts), though it a sensible thing to do). Now I can get it for 75% off. (Patrician IV) It was only released last month as well. Yeahhhhhhh! I'm not sure whether this is the last or penultimate day. My recommendations for today are World of Goo, The Indie Puzzle Pack and Mount & Blade Warband (You don't need the original Warband to play this; the original is also on a 75% deal and is only £6.50p. both games are brilliant IMO). Then again Tom Clancy: Conviction is a great game as is The Orange Box (You get five brilliant games such as Half Life 2 Team Fortress 2 and Portal for less than £5). If you get this one and let me know I may even restart the Half Life 2 Death match games I used to host up until earlier this year. I only stopped because there wern't enough players joining. I can't say much about the ball apart from it being a first person puzzler. I've only played it for a short time so far and can't form an opinion. The only other game that i've not mentioned is Streetfighter IV. It's got unusual graphics, almost like an artists pastel crayons mixed with watercolors. Still it's the best beat 'em up game i've purchased apart from Zeno Clash.

Great deal on the Orange Box. The Half-Life 2 games are fantastic and Portal is a great first-person puzzler. I bought mine used from ebay and still payed more than that!

I'm hoping there's another day and they have Bioshock 2...

Today is the last day of this fabulous sale. There have been many great bargains. Today's recommendations are Metro 2033, aliens & Predators and the Indie air Pack. all three deals are fantastic and all seven games (you get five indie games) are amongst the best. I'd include Mafia II as well, but there's only 25% off that one at the moment, plus that's only for the basic game. there's a deluxe version that includes extra content and theres also more DLC to buy. Excellent game tohugh with a real period flavour. The vehicles are brilliant. If you like GTA IV you'll love this one too. :) Oh yeah, narly forgot to mention Dirt 2. some said it was too much removed from the original Colin Mcrae series, but I think it is a brilliant game. You want to imagine what rallying really feels like, play it in the cockpit mode. Brilliant racing/rally game.
