I downloaded this software for Windows 7 just fine, and I tried to download it again for Vista on the same computer. For the past hour or so I keep getting –Bad Gateway 502– so I cannot download it again. On most days I am permitted to download the same software twice on the same computer, once for my Vista drive, and again for my Windows 7 drive, today it’s not letting me download it again at 11:00 PM Mountain Time, and the downloads run here until 1:00 AM Mountain Time since I have used GOTD. I appreciate any suggestions. Maybe your site or the developer’s site is having difficulty? The Mirror is giving me the same 502 Gateway error message as well. Many thanks. –Alan P

I apologize, I believe the above comment probably falls under the category of "post in the forum," but I registered, and did not think that anybody was going to give me a password. I have become paranoid and believe that one or some of the moderators here "have it in for me," for reasons I won't go in to. I'm sure they are baseless.
Actually the above 502 Gateway problem never resolved for me at the site here. I found a workaround by sheer luck. Usually I feel it is best policy, and just polite, to share workarounds in the forum, that's what it's here for. But if they locked me out and I wasn't supposed to get a second copy of the file, I really don't want to give away my "accidental" solution, if the programmers are going to try and lock me out from getting more than one copy of the file per day. I just happen to have two Windows installations on my computer, Vista Home Premium x64 on one hard drive, and Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on an alternative hard drive, and until I decide if I am going to keep or destroy Vista Home Premium (HP Factory Installed), this computer came with 2 Hard Drives because it is a Media Center PC that was meant for storage of media files on the extra (non-system) hard drive, and I am using it to experiment with two Windows operating systems, and a home office desktop computer, a moderate amount of media file viewing and storage (mostly on an external drive) to speak of, since this is capable of either. I hope that GOTD doesn't consider downloading a copy of the giveaway for each Windows environment as excessive, since I want to see how it will work in either, and I wasn't sure I would stick with Windows 7 when I first installed it. Also I could never predict which Windows installation I would be using, Vista or 7, when I would wish to use an application, and I might need the application in one or the other and I can't predict ahead of time how it would all sort out, so I install it in both if I know it is something that I find useful and think is something I will need. Although now I am certain I will keep Windows 7, and I am sure I am most probably keeping Vista now, because there are some free apps that HP included with the factory installation, that I do not have the money to go out and buy right now, or ever. I also put a lot of time and effort into personalizing visualizations, and other files and folders, and I don't want to get rid of Vista after all of that personal investment, even though I spend the majority of my time using the Windows 7 installation. Is that greedy to use the GOTD on each Windows installation? It never even occured to me how GOTD felt about that matter, other people have downloads for their loved ones laptops and desktop computers I suspect, I just happen to be a single human, with non computer literate kitty family.
I really do appreciate the work of the moderators, and the efforts of GOTD and the fine products they and the software programmers provide for us at no charge. Be well and find peace and prosperity.
