A text case switcher? Really? I could do more with Microsoft word than a case switcher... Does anyone else find this really odd that GoTD would post this software?

Hi, otterfiend, what's your point?
Would you rather want GOTD to give away Microsoft Word?
Then you should tell them about your dreams under Giveaway Suggestions
Why is it "really odd" when GOTD gives this programme as the giveaway of today? One thing I'm concerned about is the fact that it is and stays unregistered, even when I install and run the programme with the right-click-administrator.
And it doesn't work in this text box running firefox, because the hotkeys are already taken.
There are no reactions writing in notepad++ and in Explorer, when renaming a folder. The Help file doesn't say anything more than the settings or the blurb.

EDIT
After my second cup of coffee, I changed the settings; the given hotkeys won't work for me. Now I have to find and learn settings, which are generally free.
And find a way to register the programme.Posted 13 years ago # -
to answer question- no, I actual need a program like todays offer, but not every days can be great anyway.

graylox,I havent rebooted yet, but I shut it down and stayed registered. mines W7 64bit
Do you use winpatrol? Did you click yes when it asked to allow the start up settings?
I've always noticed not allowing everything makes a difference during an install, esp with win patrol.Posted 13 years ago # -
No, not using winpatrol.
It tells me it's an unregistered version. Didn't try to reboot yet.
It's not often (or never) I have this problem.
I have Vista 32.Posted 13 years ago # -
just got through rebooting after installing that o&o giveaway and gave the lowercase switcher a go.
No issues. It stayed registered. Must be a vista thing. We'll see if more people have problems later.
I never had that many issues with vista either when I was using it. I'd still be using it if I hadnt of gotten windows 7 for free.goodluck

It still says 'unregistered copy" in the about over here.
Maybe I should have another cup of java.LOL.Posted 13 years ago # -
Update:
Although it says registered to 'unregistered copy' (...) it appears to be registered.
The trial version displays the 30 days trial limit.Posted 13 years ago # -
I'm afraid I have to agree with otterfriend. I can't believe someone even bothered to WRITE this program, much less that it's being offered here. I know, I know..."It's free" and "If you don't like it, don't use it," and you're right, I should be grateful and just stay quiet. But when I saw this giveaway, I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't April 1st.
