   Around 18 months ago i stopped receiving emails for this site - i am unsure why as i never stopped them.So after changing computers etc I have just tried to subscribe once again as i would like to start using this site once again.

   Now when i just tried to subscribe with the "feedburner email subscription" (to be able to download giveaways)i get this error:

   Subscription has been paused for ****@****.com.au. Please contact the publisher at Giveaway of the Day to reactivate the subscription.(I deliberately blanked my email address out there).

   (I do remember this happening when i first stopped receiving the emails and then life got in the way.I most certainly don't remember doing anything wrong so i have no idea why this happened.I don't even remember posting or commenting anywhere either.Apart from one post i posted on the forums here to ask if anyone could help me.I didn't receive any answer back then.)

   And yet i am able to post on the forum here by putting in a new user name with my original email address.
   The original username if i had one i don't remember also the email address has always remained the same.

   Back then i did use windows xp professional. Last 12 months almost i have used vista - although i doubt that makes any difference.
   Does anyone have any idea how i can get subscribed for giveaways like i used to?

   Hi Blondeme,

   I am facing a somewhat similar (though not identical) problem as you. For about one week now, I have not been able to "activate" any of my GOTD downloads on my Vista-OS computer. I am only able to "activate" GOTD downloads on my Win-7 computer. So, maybe it IS a Vista-related problem (and, if so, the GOTD execs should be on top of it.)

   I would suggest you contact the GOTD executive team directly via the contact form, to see if they can help solve this problem for you.

   That said, though, a few months back I sent them a message about something else, and they never sent me a response - so maybe you'll have better luck than me in getting them to send you a reply.

   If my memory serves me correctly(and it often doesn't)I think there was a problem last year with e-mail notification,personally I never bothered with them,I just turn up every day to see what is on offer.
   As HP says direct contact with the executive team would be your best bet to clear up any problems.

   Have you tried adding a GOTD content module to a homepage? For example My Yahoo and My MSN (not sure about My AOL) will allow a user to create and add content modules. Use one as a homepage and you’ll be “back in the saddle again” (so to speak...lol).

   HappyPerson: i used the contact form and sent my query off 5 minutes ago.My problem began when i was using windows xp pro that is why i realized its not a vista thing.I also remember that's what i did back then was send this same form to them and no response - not the forums at all. Good Luck with your problem...

   Deserthead47:I am pretty sure my problem was in 2008.Also although i have changed the profile today so that i receive notification when people answered this posting, i have not received an email letting me know someone has answered and when i checked minutes ago i noticed these 4 reply's.

   aRenegade: I don't have any website of my own nor do i use those sorts of sites. Granted i do have FBook but i seldom use it - as a matter of fact i am not so sure getting around in there i just click things and hope i did it right when i get anything i need to reply to lol.So you lost me right on the first 2 words there adding content... lol

   You can try resubscribing from the home page. I remember that many people had the problem of offers arriving too late, so maybe they just stopped maintaining that one.
