I have a copy of Wondershare Video Converter Platinum and I like it a lot. I had to do a Recovery of my Windows XP (sp2) box - NOT a reinstall, so my software (thank goodness) remains on my machine. However, now the video converter is unregistered (I don't need to reinstall it). Is there any way I can reactivate it?
My problem is different from what's covered in the faq (etc). I have less than 30 days, I'd really like to keep it.

Is it their Wondershare Video to iPod Converter? That's the only one I can find that's around 30 days old.
I don't think the rules differentiate. If somehow your system malfunctions and you need to repair it in any form and you lose the giveaway registration status, you're more than likely out of luck.
(BTW, I think Wondershare ask for email addresses and send registration codes. Maybe check there.)

That's a good point GMMan, yes wondershare giveaways do have a policy of sending your reg code via an email, so, if you haven't deleted the email or cleared out the deletion folder (usually kept for a month) you should still be able to re-register the software. You can also check to see what other software you have installed from Wondershare by clicking on the link near the bottom of the email.

Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck on this occasion. This particular Wondershare giveaway was a more typical GOTD package, which included an activate.exe and a setup.exe. In case you've lost the readme....
Installation
Unzip the package you`ve downloaded and run Setup.exe to install the software,
then run the activation program Activate.exe which is included in the package. You have to install it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over.
GOTD crosses the wires in the apostrophe for some reason :)
