I downloaded Keriver Image yesterday and thought that the registration number was contained in the "Read Me" file. When I opened the software today, I discovered that that is NOT the correct number. I received the typical Giveawayoftheday window that told me that it had been activated, but when I opened the software today, it told me that it was only a 15 day trial version. The number in the readme file is a "license key". I need a "registration number" to be able to register the software for permanent use. Is it still possible to get that?

Hi kenlorne, I place the licence key in the first field, the second field contained the computers reference number and I left the registration window (which was the third and bottom field) empty. It registered for me fine. Did you copy the number provided to the first field above the compurter referece number (not exactly sure what it was called, but i'm sure you know when I say computer reference number, which was the middle field).
If you still have the program installed, it may be worth trying it again. If it doesn't work, it could be date sensitive so there's probably little you can do, apart from wait until it comes around again. It has been given away a few times, so we may be lucky enough to get it again. :)
You could always write to the developer and expalin what happened. They may help you, although they are not obliged to.. I've written to several developers over the last few years asking for disounts or even freebies and some have given away their products (though most wont)
regards WR
