I have downloaded several icon makers, managers, etc., because I would like to create a desktop icon that--when clicked--will link to my writer's Website at amsaw.org. No program I have seen yet allows you to do that. Am I missing something, or is there a program I need to try? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
How do you hyperlink icons?

Hi djwriter,
Windows is able to do this by default. Right-click on your desktop. Select New->Shortcut. Enter the website address and click Next. Enter the name and click Finish. And you're done. :)

Thanks reverseOrder,
And duh!!! It couldn't be much simpler. Thanks so much for your help. It never would have dawned on me. I'll have a desktop full of new icons by the end of the day. Hmmm.
