   I apologize for already posting this in the comments section today (even though it's not related to todays giveaway) but, I wanted to give a "heads up" to "AVS Video Editor" users and the GAOTD team.
   I also wanted to repost it here in case it doesn't pass moderation:

   was only a LIMITED TRIAL, which, of course, goes against the spirit of Giveawayoftheday.com.
   It is almost the 1 year anniversary of it’s last release here at GAOTD and if you start up “AVS” today (August 22nd) you will get a notice that says “You have 21 days left in your trial".
   Start up “AVS Video Editor” to see for yourself.

   I know that it was free & I could always purchase the program after expiration, but, we don’t come to GAOTD for time/feature limited shareware/trialware. Nor does GAOTD want it from those software makers participating in the GAOTD project.
   BTW: I also know that GAOTD did NOT know about this! Just wanted to bring it to your attention… Keep up the good work GAOTD team!

   Hi Beaks & Other GOTD members:

   By the way - in case anyone is interested....AVS developer offers a $59 lifetime membership, which allows customers to download all of their available programs, and which also allows customers to download all future, newly-developed programs, as well as having full lifetime access to all future software upgrades.

   For me, personally, I found this offer to be very appealing and I purchased this subscription. It's very rare (IMHO) for any software company to make such an offer.

   I wanted to share this info. with you (for your benefit) in case you are interested.

   Hello again, I forgot to mention one very important item about the AVS offer....

   The $59 lifetime software purchase offer is good only up thru August 31, 2009.
   After this date, you will have to pay the regular lifetime price of $199.

   AVS also offers a 1-year software-access subscription for $39 thru August 31, 2009.

   After this date, you will have to pay the regular 1-year price of $59.

   I'm downloading the application, as I write.
   In a previous experience, I found out the hard way that the programs were shareware and that additional software will be downloaded, if you allow it.
   I'm interested in seeing how the program performs, though; so I don't mind installing it on my PC.
