I just downloaded streaming video recorder. I can download the video off of youtube fine, but every time I go to put the video into iTunes, it says it was successful but never puts it in. Also, I try to view on Windows Media Player and it won't let me. I even convert it to WMV. Any suggestions.

Try converting it to a .mov or .m4v (if you want to put it on to an iPod). Do that with SUPER (Google it, but use a mirror, as their site's download system seems broken).

Why do I have to get another program to convert the videos. Isn't that what the program is for?

Well, the think is, if this program won't do it, then you'll have to do it with another program or tweak the settings. I prefer using a more reliable program.

Hi, shortmantuff, welcome to the forums!
I think it is better you ask the developer that question on the comments site or directly via support. Normally the developers don't come to the forums.
That does not mean that you should skip town or check out of the forums; stay, discuss and have fun. Did you see the Free Weekday Games Synopsis?
I hope all the different problems with this programme will be solved, I too would like to have a recorder for Internet TV.

If anyone's looking at something to download streaming video easily, try FlashGet. I've been able to download Windows Media streams, among others. It's also a great download manager, though a poor BitTorrent client. For conversion, Quicktime Pro is probably the easiest to use, and converts to iPod formats without fight, however it's pretty slow. If you want customizability, try SUPER.
